I think DOA 5 has at least as many characters that are viable in tournament play as MVC2 does.
Probably a few more.
Well, yes, you're being sexist. You're also treating me as if I'm the same as every other male you're coming across. You said above, "You're such a guy." Just because you're a woman doesn't mean you can't be sexist. It's exactly what you're doing. I don't know why you need to back down or show bravado in an internet debate, since that's not how I respond to posts. But since you're treating me that way, I won't respond to any of the posts you make.
And no, you haven't hit a nerve. Nothing said on a videogame message board is going to upset me. It's not that serious.![]()

LOL...damning praise.

I think it's only the DOA community that does this because of e-sports, because I haven't seen anything like this in other communities. Hell, female Tekken players are mostly treated like casuals (or worse), except for players like Chris and Dani in the UK Tekken scene.
People have to prove themselves, that's all you need. Yeah, maybe people will try to flirt with you or look at you funny, but everyone get this sort of treatment when they first start up.
I'm not being sexist because you were acting like most guys on the internet in the high level communities I've been apart of. And last time I checked I have never denied a man the right to vote or demanded that he go into the kitchen to make me and sandwich.Unless I was joking with him.
I think you should look up the term sexism. When you pretty much shot down my post with your reply I replied back. And it seems you can't respond back to my opinion so your using this whole sexism BS to cover your ass.
It makes me so sad that characters from another franchise will, potentially, destroy the DoA characters.I try.
Let me you ask you this... what do you think happens when Akira, Sarah, or Pai fights Helena in a tournament?
No one cares about your gender. You're throwing it around like it means something then lumping in everyone else into a group. That's why he called you sexist.
lol. Maybe you should.
But no need to respond to me any further about this. It will won't go anywhere and we're far off topic. But, in the future, you should try treating people like individuals and not stereotyping them based on the preconceived notion of how you think men on the internet act.
Mailifang. Please don't double post.
Half the roster being tournament viable means the game is only half-done to me. Especially when my main is in the shit part of the tier list.

Sometimes.
It may sound like crazy talk right now but actually I'm fairly certain Bayman shits all over Akira TBH. The risk reward seems to be in favor of Bayman a lot more. But thats mostly because Akira players rely on the whole "high jab low jab high jab low jab" bullshit to keep up frame advantage and it gets really obnoxious with how predictable it becomes.
It's great on paper, right up until Bayman uses a high-counter advanced low punch hold into a wall. Then Akira becomes scared to jab ever.
And since Bayman's advanced holds outside of stun do more than Akira's throws.... fuck do I have to worry about?
...And I'm already starting to miss Ein. Bayman was so easy to beat with him...Sometimes.
