I think the only reason people are making jokes and a big deal about this is because Harada specifically looked for feedback from Arab players. Had Harada just introduced him without even specifying his race/ethnicity, people would just make assumptions and/or just would have made Assassin's Creed jokes (which they still are).
I've seen people make jokes about ISIS, Saddam Hussein, mocking the Muslim faith, etc. and I am literally so disgusted. People who think like this are really gross and shouldn't have an internet connection.
you haven't been paying much attention for the last several years or so if you think that Harada has anything to do with racial jokes. anytime a middle eastern character is seen these jokes follow because the conflict and tension over there has been broadcasted and magnified for over a decade.

Why can't people just overlook race and ethnicity and just enjoy the game? I personally like the diverse characters, and the states and countries they represent.
