Tekken

Based on her in-game character concept art she doesn't look like she's changed all that much.

The point I was getting at is I wish that Harada (and Hayashi as well) could make at least one female who looks older than 30. Senran Kagura may be as sexist as they come but at least they introduced a grandmother into the game. There are a ton of older dudes in Tekken but any time we have a female who is supposed to have aged she is cryogenically frozen, dead before she shows signs of aging and brought back by possession, etc...

Harada just doesn't like mature women.... SC does the same thing. It's all about what sells. Even here if you bring up Miyako you will hear groans, and TN could've easily included her as a palette swap of Kokoro.

RE confirmed characters I think it's a safe bet that everyone in TR will be coming to T7.

Not everyone can make it back, but they shouldn't get rid of completely original fighting styles.

Well, let's look at the characters who are "rumored" to not come back...

Lee - He's developed well since he reappeared in T4 and is completely unique from Marshall Law in T5. Plus, it involves the Mishimas, so he should be back, due to family ties.

Marduk - The sole Vale Tudo fighter and character relationship with King. He's gotten a pretty good cult following and if Harada was serious (I know he was joking) about not including Lucky Chloe in American versions, Marduk would've fit the "muscle skinhead" description. Lol

Bruce - Bruce is kind of bland and Bryan is more dynamic. Bryan was made to replace Bruce in T3 and honestly, Bruce really has no more story relevance with the Mishimas at this point.

AKing - He's basically King with a few different moves, but if Marduk isn't coming back, then AKing shouldn't either. He still has vendetta against Marduk, even though the current King has forgiven Marduk.

Bears - I don't play with the bears in Tag 2, but I feel that these two are basically the same, with slight difference in move properties. Their owners will be in the game, but aside from comic relief and due to the fact that a Kuma (Kuma I was in T1 and T2, while Kuma II was in T3 to present) has always been present in a Tekken game, they have no story relevance either.

Baek- Hwoarang is a more dynamic take on Taekwondo and more fun to play. Baek has no story relevance, tbh, but Hwoarang has been a staple since T3 and we all know Jin is going to be in T7, so the rivalry is still going to continue.

Wang - The guy is pretty old, so if he dies of old age, that would be a pretty valid excuse as to why he didn't make the cut. Plus, he's not really used that much and since Jinpachi is dead and Xiayou is trying to save Jin and his bloodline, Wang isn't needed anyway.

No bears and no capos? I'm starting to like this game already. Looks like the trolls will be sticking with L. Chloe and i really hope she's shit tier.

I've said this on another forum, but if Anna and Zafina aren't in Tekken 7 then I'm going to Japan and I'm going to fist fight every member on the Tekken project team I don't care if I'm arrested I don't care.

Somebody talked to Saint (whom I don't trust at all) in Australia and he said he talked to a producer who said some characters may not make it.

Lee
(Not) Excellent!

His purpose has been served.

Bullshit!

If only to make room for character individuality, this makes sense.

Namco really should've given us some Gummi Bears to play with...

We have the TKD Chick Magnet, and given the last game, there's a good chance he's gonna be killed off.

It's his time. Let him die an honorable death with his eternal friend, Oogly Mishima.

Well, if Nina is in the game (and she will be), then Anna has a strong possibility of being in it too because of her ties to Kazuya. Zafina, while recent, is kind of hard to tell. Story wise, her purpose has been served, but the fighting style is just too unique to not bring it back. But since Tekken 7 is hitting arcades, time release characters are always a thing, and it's clear the roster is far from complete. Just keep calm and wait for further updates.
