Tekken

Those two levels were the devil to complete! XD The mokujin one was a little easier, but I struggled with the Yoshimitsu one, and once again my sister helped bail me out by beating it through dedication. I really hope we'll get another SC type mode, as tough as it could be, it had a certain something that kept me coming for more.

Yeah the SC is what kept me playing Tekken 6 a lot longer than I otherwise would have. Obviously its a fighting game so the fighting is going to be the main thing but I think it should have extras to do besides that to keep things interesting. For example -

Soul Calibur has CAS

Mortal Kombat has had lots like chess, go karts, Tetris, button mashing and my favourite was in Deception were it had an open world mode.

Etc.

That reminds me, didn't Harada say they could bring back old stages? I have they remake the secret garden and the cemetery stage. The cemetery was my favorite stage in T6(That grungy rock goes hard and fits goth lili so much) and I'd love to see it back in. They should also remake Lili's Tekken 5 room, that stage was so beautiful with all the pink carpet and balloons everywhere.

Lili's room from Tekken 5 was my favourite stage and the music was awesome in that stage too! I'd love them to bring that stage back. Electro Fountain was my favourite from Tekken 6 because it had IMO the best music in any fighting game stage I've ever heard so I'd like that brought back to.

I also used Roger. Jr's secret stage for grinding for items and Kazuya's Stage for money.

I agree with Jadeinchains Electro Fountain would be great to bring back.

I'd be down for classic stages as well as the return of Tekken Tunes I didn't like any of tag 2s ost so that saved me a bunch.

I'd personally love one of Yishimitsus old forest stages to come back, Yoshi feels naked without a forest, that and I want a stage to use his T2 theme on

If they do bring back Tekken tunes, I hope we can choose the normal stage ost and then the final round one. Here's some good transitions I'd do:
Martial medicine>massive stunner
School TTT>School TTT2 after school mix
Dragon's nest>T7 final round
Mishima dojo>Tekken revolution Hall of fate
moonlight wilderness>Shattered dreams (one of my favorite stage themes from the T5 era)

And if they allow USB music, they need to include a looping option so we can loop tracks from a certain points like they already do with the native Tekken tracks. And it's not gonna happen, but I kind of want English Lili back, that or replace her battle sounds to match her seductive french voice.

EDIT: Hell, they should just get the SFXTekken English voices and use those as an alternative option for the characters they were used for. I'm not too sold on the idea of being force fed the characters speaking in their native tongue, and some characters to me sound better in the English voice from that game, like Alisa.

Being able to loop your own music to turn it into the theme for a stage sounds really cool and I think that could be done pretty easily. And the theme changing on the last round sounds cool as well since it would make it more exciting like in TTT2 when fighting Jun and in the second round the calm theme suddenly goes all dubstep!

When it comes to what language they speak I have to say I actually really like hearing them talk the native language to their country but like you said if it was optional then its a win/win.

Precisely, I mean don't get me wrong, the native speaking VAs are good, but the original voices were a lot better. Tekken is also well known for using less popular and one voice wonder type VAs, whom to me do such a better job making the character sound more real than a main stream one. I don't know where Harada got this notion that nearly everyone has to speak their native tongue, SC, Mortal Kombat, and Street fighter don't do that at all, and they actually replace the character battle grunts, instead of being lazy like Tekken who's using Tara Platt to do Anna's voice, even though she sounds way different than Lenne Hardt, who made her sound a lot more mature and dominating, while Tara uses her common flirty tease typecast voice. ~_~

I also wouldn't mind lili being a bit thicker like she was in SFXT. Her hips and thighs were so plump in that game.

I honestly prefer Lilis English voice but is whatevs... I do want Haradas voice for Yoshimitsu back.

I actually prefer her English voice as well since its what I associate with her since that's how she originally sounded.

Yeah I like it when games, movies anything have new undiscovered voice/acting talent instead of just using the biggest name they can find I never want to hear Troy Baker again! Sometimes it actually damages the character because your just thinking of the famous person doing it. ( at least I do anyway )

That's why I love Tekken, the VA team gives newcomer VAs a chance to shine. Joy Jacobson I don't recall did anything major before voicing Lili, but after she did she's probably one of the more popular VAs in the world, but sadly she's only known for her one role, and SFXT seems to be her last game reprising Lili. :-/ The only Tekken they did badly with voices was Tekken 4, Nina, Christie, Julia, and Marduk. Their voice actors barely sounded like they were trying, or trying too hard, but I guess it couldn't be helped because good English VAs were pretty expensive back then, which is why I think a lot of Japanese fighting game makers had such mediocre ones.

I really dislike the voice that they to gave to Leo. It's so raspy and breathy. Also it is clearly a boy's voice (probably between 10-15 years old.)

You mean her new German one?(If that is the right language...) I myself do not really care for Leo at all, her design is not my taste, but I preferred her old T6 voice because that was the voice of Ash Ketchum from pokemon.

Yes, her German voice. It is obviously a native speaker for once, thank God, but I really dislike the sound of it. It sounds like someone's throat is sore and he has to whisper instead. But that's probably what German sounds like to anyone, lol. XD

I wonder if it was a girl or a young boy who did the voice. If it was a woman, they probably pulled her aside before the recording and said she had to sound some what masculine to balance the androgynous tone, so she decided to sound that way for it. If it was a guy, he probably whispered and grated his voice a bit to somewhat "feminize" it. Idk though, VAs incorporate some unique techniques to sound a certain way for their designated roles.

@UpSideDownGRUNT Eliot is kind of a different case though, at least now. He's now clearly shown to be a male and doesn't look androgynous anymore, and his VAs in Dimensions and 5 are done by older guys who can make their voices sound like young men. I don't even think his Japanese VA is a good fit anymore, because he's 18 now and most likely wouldn't still sound that way. He'd be more suited for a VA like Tanukichi's from Shimoneta or Satoshi from Hyouka, or something to that effect.

But being androgynous is her schtick, it makes sense she'd sound like a boy, I mean... Eliot is voiced by a girl in Japanese.

Women often speak the roles of younger boys in Japanese anime or games.
In Leo's case it somehow rubs me the wrong way and as I said, I don't like that raspy, whispering kind of voice the actor has. Maybe that really comes because the actor (boy or woman) is trying to disguise his/her voice as @KasumiLover69 suggested...

Satoshi from Hyouka, or something to that effect.
Satoshi? XD I think Eliot's voice should be less high pitched, warmer and softer. By the way, how far are you? :)

I don't really think she's a girl. Harada confirmed she was a female, but that was in TTT2, and that game is non canon, so he could've just been referring to her as female in that game only.
