Lol, yeah it's nice, she's still 12 and a major anime lover and tomboy so she loves playing fighters with me....well mainly tekken, she doesn't enjoy playing DOA with me. :-/ We always usually use sibling characters, like she uses ayane and Cassandra, and I use the other older sibling. In tekken, we just call dibs and that's all XD She's actually pretty good too, she's no pushover...

She could probably beat me since I'm not that great and I can't imagine how bad I must be now after not playing for ages. I'll have to practice and get good again with Lili like I was IMO back in TTT2.

Same, I'd say my lili was pretty decent, I did well with her in TR and TTT2, but as a lili player you have to be ready for a lot of hatemail XD. Kazuyas imo were annoying, that spammable hellsweep of his and that trolly shoulder toss. I also didn't like Anna at first because I thought she was OP, but now that I use her, I realized how wrong I was. so many highs and lows but no fast mids or ways to keep momentum like her Nina can, who's wayy faster .

I was playing on Wii U so I was lucky to avoid any possible hate for playing as Lili, Sonya in MK9 on Xbox 360 though I did have someone try to say I was spamming because he was getting beat, That was years ago though and Jade is my main so I'm not as good with Sonya. The reason that I probably don't do that good is because I think tournament people spend time studying every characters moves to the better at reacting to them but I just try my hardest to know as much about my characters.

Same, Tekken has like 30+ fighters, so I just focus on what mine are capable of doing. I space mostly so I just wait for them do rush me and then I'll retaliate, Lili is definitely not someone to rushdown with XD. Hwoarang however is my kryptonite, he's so tough to be beat, geez..

Yeah they try to attack and then Lili has that move where she jumps back in a twirl and then you can just do crazy back flips kicking them in the face, at least that's what I do.

I can't think of anyone especially that I hate to fight but I know I hated Alisa in the scenario campaign but I don't think she was that bad in a normal fight. I remember not being very good at fighting Jun and Unknown.

I hate Jun and Unknown, they have that ridiculous reversal that reverses almost everything...I'm not ashamed to say I lost my first online match against a Jun, thank goodness I started in just a normal match. My sister uses Alisa, and it's her chainsaws that throw me off, not only do I detest weaponry, but you're helpless if she starts that sidestepping thing that avoids attacks. Easiest for me is Xiaoyu, just wait for her to do those unecessary spins and stuff then crush her, she can however be scary if she starts parrying and ducking since lili is so two dimensional. ~_o

I absolutely love Alisa's crazy chainsaws though I'll admit you'd think she'd be disqualified for using them. They give her range too when she fires them off and I love when her whole upper body does a 360 with her chainsaws. To me Lili's the type of fighter that is fast enough to do lots of damage in a short period of time even though a single hit doesn't do amazing damage but its better to play safe with her.

Yeah, she's actually quick with her faster strikes, but it's her slower more graceful ones that really make her like a tank. She has a reversal too, but it's very limited in terms of what it reverses.

Also, I'm curious; do any westerners (especially you americans) even know who she's supposed to be dressed up as in that costume (without looking it up)?

I'm not sure if he does eat there but you're pretty much correct, he actually joked that Jollibee was going to playable before they officially announced Josie.

lol, yeah there was a big twitter frenzy over that, a lot of Filipino players thought he actually was going to do that, but it'd be impossible because of restaurant copyright, I do know he does genuinely like the place though. I guess that's why Josie was made so they wouldn't be as let down.

Its not just that he likes Jollibee, Tekken is really popular here, I guess they made a Filipina character specifically to appeal to us locals. Personally, I have no interest in using her since her gameplay doesn't really interest me but I completely understand why other locals would (any Filipino who gets worldwide mainstream attention becomes a local celebrity, no matter what they did to get that attention).

She doesn't really look new game play wise, more like a versatile female version of Bruce honestly. I honestly don't think her appearance suits that type of style, her idle stance just looks unflattering aside from the red ribbon on her head.

I'm not 100% sure though that she is exactly a replacement. Harada had said once during the vanilla T7 that they gave the new characters a few familiar moves so that some veteran players could "adapt" easier or something since the original characters were not yet in.

I honestly wasn't shocked by Josie, but I wasn't blown away either, she's not my type of character, but her outfit is stylish, I'll give her that. She's like Tekken's Mila XD
