You know, I actually really want to play this.

But 8 makes me accidentally jump ALL THE DAMN TIME in Tekken, unlike every other 3D fighter in existence.

So fuck it.

When Harada learns how to 3D like we're not in the fucking early 90's, I'll be up in this bitch.

lol holding 8 makes you jump.
You have to press it to move your character in that direction.

Tekken's definition of "holding" is rather... uhhh... short.

Something as simple as a step shouldn't feel like a just frame input. Not when every other 3d fighter on the market has a side walk in addition to the step which gets your muscle memory used to being lax on the input.

Not saying it isn't functional, just saying my thumb and brain don't appreciate it. So it can go to hell.

I still need to get tekken tag 2. I haven't really been jumping on it like I usually do with fighters considering I pretty much got tired of tekken after 6. I don't know. I feel it needs a new everything. Okay not everything. It just need to feel like we're playing in 2012.

Whoa, I overlooked that video! Badass. Seriously.

I still wish Zafina made the cut and Asuka and Lili were thrown in there playing Spin the Bottle for a little tease, but good God, that was badass enough.

Last time Tekken DID haave a single sidewalk button, the fans weren't happy about it.

Don't you play on pad? It's really easy; just tap it.

Sidestepping in Tekken games is as easy as pie to me. Then again, I always played Chicken 1-6 on a pad. So it's pretty much embedded into my brain as a natural reflex at this point. Although I do tend to jump by accident whenever I push :7: or :9:.
