It is not necessarily about winning, but more about positioning etc. Anyways, if you only want to voice your favors for Alpha 152, that is fine and all, just know that it wouldn't be included in the statistics (scoring) as it would be unfair for all the other participants.

Remember that a vote for your character is a vote for changing that mainstream focus, etc. etc.

I think we have to put her under the Hayate/Ein banner for starters at least. Though if she really is a Sith like Gurimmjaw suspects, then maybe she got a nasty scar, evil personality or anything that doesn't make them the same Kasumi person. It is a good question though, seeing as Hayate and Ein IS the same person, while twins/clones are not necessarily so. It would be Kasumi Skywalker and Kasumi Vader I guess. I suspect no matter what we do people would be split about it though, so I'd just to keep it rolling for now. It would be a shame to discard earlier votes when we don't have to as well. Of course, if TK follows this pattern they'll ruin this by adding another new character before the year is over (not that I'd complain though), so it wouldn't really matter anyways.
