Lol, you stressing these are "classy pics" says a lot about the game. XD
What exactly do you find so pretty about the game? Like Chapstick says...technically it looks like a PS3 game in full HD. With such a simple art style, and being a PS4 exclusive, they could have done so much more. As you know I love anime and I also love games that have pretty and coherent anime styles like...

Tales of Vesperia:

Persona 5:

Zelda: Breath of the Wild:

Guilty Gear:

...but I really don't see the artistic value in SK's art style...other then them having giant knockers...which are weirdly square shaped. The characters and environments also don't really match.

You are still welcome to post your pics in here of course. In fact I would be happy if more than just me would regularly share their very own experiences with games in this thread and not just fancy bullshots the developers dish out to us.

Its worth mentioning Persona 5 is cross platform though, I'll personally be buying PS4 version.

I'm ready and willing to import the US version on V day.

While I'm personally not a fan of grotesque horror designs like this, I do have to say they are impressive and definitely great pieces of art. I have to admit I did SK or better it's artists/designers an injustice in this regard. But as great as these designs are, they don't really translate well into the actual game. The overall art style of for example the PS4 version looks generic and uninspired to me. :/

Yeah I know. But being cross gen doesn't take anything away from it's great design. Tales of Vesperia is a Xbox360 game and still looks gorgeous to this day. Better then the following Tales of Games in my opinion.

If you did play SK, I think your favorite girl would be Yomi, she reminded me so much of you based on her actions in story mode, very polite and Noble like but also capable of being blunt and sadistic when her or her friends were threatened. Definitely one of my favorite girls. Grunt is definitely Yagyuu and PB is Katsuragi for sure...in personality of course XD Chap would be Hikage and Jadeinchains is definitely a Mirai.

Have you ever played the Bayonetta series? That series has beautifully designed angels as enemies. The Bayonetta series in general has what I'd say is possibly the best art direction of any video game. Also they get browny points for one of the angels being based on the wheels of the Chariot called Enchant.

I didn't, since this type of games is not really my cup of tea. But yeah, I know they are gorgeous looking and I also loved Devil May Cry 4's look.

Yes, she's very lowkey sadistic and dare I say...bitchy? She absolutely hates anyone coming from a wealthy background, and she hides her darker side behind her sweet and demure appearance. XD She also called me a pervert once in the dressing room when I touched her face up close. :-/

@Jadeinchains, speaking about Bayonetta, I really love the designs Mari Shimazaki, the character designer of Bayonetta, did for Soul Calibur 4:

They were better than the defaults... She also designed Ivy and Leixia:

Based on EV considering it's the only one I've played I'd say I'm more like Murasaki. Was disappointed there were no enemies in the game like Juihau mentioned. The whole story they're worrying over a yoma (monster) and I'm like....can I at least see it?? Then I thought it'd be the final boss but nope. Just fought other shinobi the whole game. Giant square boobs immune to gravity aside I think the game has some very good character designs.

Jasmine reminds me so much of Dragon Ball, idk if that's the point but she's my favorite

Idk which one I am...am I Ryona, Yumi, or Yomi, I find them the most relatable imo. Anyone care to say who I am? XD And I love Jasmine, especially her eyes....they're so freakin' expressive! She's definitely one of my favorite older girls in the game, my favorite loli type girl would be Minori, she's just too cute and sweet for words.

@Jadeinchains yeah, she transforms into Jasmine her younger self by using a secret ninpo that shaves off her lifespan, but she can't do a shinobi transformation, so she's kinda a glass cannon when her health gets low.

Which reminds me, not gonna spoil the ending but I actually shed a few silent tears when I saw what Ryona and ryobi had to go through, and the ending song made it worse. I didn't want the game to end.

There really does seem to be a lot of creative designs in that game! I've watched quite a bit of gameplay now and the gameplay looks good and the stages look great as well. I'm still on the fence for if I'll get it or not though.

Also completely different topic for a second and just because I was playing it earlier today from excitement over RE7 coming out soon, Is anyone else a fan of Resident Evil? I know that some amazing designs for setting, characters and monsters. The scariest in my opinion being the Regenarator!

So, some have payed real close attention to the God of War 4 demo and found some very interesting details that can be easily missed at first sight:

The most interesting detail is however this in the very last scene of the demo:

A gigantic, white snake. O: Maybe Jörmungandr, the Midgard Snake?

That hovering thing in the first gif seems to be some kind of spirit/guardian that we maybe already saw on the leaked concept arts a couple of months ago:

I have to say I am really excited about this game's artistic design and I'm also glad they chose Norse mythology for this game. It is imho even more interesting than Greek mythology, maybe because it isn't as overused. It's got some really great characters, creatures and places. I hope we will be able to climb Yggdrasil, the world tree, from Hel(l) to Asgard and back again.

Wow that's pretty in depth there and with a lot of hard to spot things as well, that does seem interesting if they decide to go for a story of Kratos going through the layers of the tree.

Yeah I think everyone liked Claire's new outfits in REV2 especially sniper Claire! I liked Moira too and she is definitely a unique character among the RE characters, I didn't like the cowboy and ninja alternative outfits though. Moira was actually 20 when the events of REV2 happened in 2011! Also It will be interesting if Rebecca is in RE7 since she'll be 37 now.
