Maybe they are de-emphasizing them to not appear too sexual? If that's the case, why not omit them completely as they do in anime? XD

Funny you should say this, today I made a few screenshots of the customization that I chose for my characters, including Aquaman and Harley:

The customization mode is very similar to Soul Calibur's actually. Just that different gear gives you different stat boosts and perks and that you have to unlock and earn all gear first. And there is so much and the most awesome gear is the hardest to obtain of course, lol. It is really addicting. Even for the characters that I don't ever use. I want them to look as good as possible too. Alone in gear hunting and customization I've spent several hours.

Wow! I hadn't really seen any gameplay of injustice 2 but seeing that stage transition video... This game is gorgeous! Every stage just has so much to it. I really liked those Metropolis transitions and the one where Wonder Woman fell down the spiral staircase, Something about the way the camera angle was just really good.

Wait till you see the characters super moves.

They never get old.

The hotness....and wow i didn't know the game had customization, I was wondering why certain stuff like harleys bustier were in different outfits despite being different outfits. Lol, Aquaman already is dressed pretty skimpy and tight... I have barely even obtained 1/3 of his stuff, so I can't say for sure what else there is.

I wouldn't mind other fighting games getting customization modes, They're always lots of fun. Especially If you have to unlock items since it's a cool goal to go for. One of the things I liked in doa5 was playing through arcade getting the outfits for the characters.

Also I was looking up videos of the game because I wanted to see Power Girl and she looks pretty cool.

I think I mentioned this before, but the character design of the main heroes of DQH2 looks really random and unremarkable to me. Even though I am not a fan of Toriyama designs in general I think the heroes of the first game were better designed and more memorable:

The use of colors is much better here as well. Both complement each other well right next to eachother. The coloring of the new heroes seems mismatched and hurts my eyes, especially seen together. X__X

Oh yeah I remember the first game, I liked the colors of the armour but didn't care much for Luceus's design, his hair was weird and his armour seemed bulky, Aurora was better executed. In the new game the guy is much more better designed than the girl is, she seems so generic and too sweetly designed as if a little girl made her concept, plus her hair style is hideous while the guy's is more brilliantly done

I'll take more screens soon when j reach certain points, I just met up with Torneko from DQ4 Chapters of the chosen and alot of memories flooded back when his overworld theme played

I don't know much about that series other than the slime creatures and from the screens posted on this page I atleast like the jellyfish slime things design. Also Blonde bitch in red looks cool to. Also I think it's been discussed before but the characters are designed by the person who did Dragon Ball Z, right? The eye's and foreheads etc look similar.

And yeah Girl in pink...with the pink eyes... and the pink hair... It's not one of my favourite designs.

There's no such thing as too much pink

Yeah lol to be honest that wasn't entirely accurate because there's plenty of characters that have pink eye,hair,clothes combos that I actually like it's just that on her it doesn't look good though I don't really like the look of her at all.

Yeah an outfit can have alot of pink, it's just the colors they used...the black bow and all the different shades of pink don't go well together

They should've did it the way they did with naotora and had some white to soften the look and maybe add a light color like blue as a highlight along with the embroidery and minimal gold details

Same with Eliot's outfit, they had white to kind of make the blue more easy on the eyes and they added small pink colored details without overdoing it and the orange floaty and grey shirt make the whole outfit have a certain balance without coming off as being too busy or too much color. Plus her hair didn't need to be pink too, I hate that part of her design...​

So, Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4 and XBox One) was delayed till 2018, but they released some official screenshots as a consolation...

The last screen reminds me of a discussion I had a few times here with Argentus. He doesn't seem to like realistic visual designs and claimed at one point Horizon Zero Dawn has one. Which it actually hasn't. I think Jade and Chapstick can confirm this. It is stylized too. The use of colors, the lighting, the over exaggeration of natural environments etc.
The nature screenshots of RDR2 are a good example of an actually very close to realism visual design. It looks technically impressive, but artistically it looks bland and boring. (Even though it takes designers/artists just as much effort to create.) In this case I too would not have much fun exploring these super realistic woods.
RDR2 is a pretty looking game but it doesn't wake much interest in me. :/ Strangely enough the same developer's GTAV did interest me, also visually. But I think GTAV too is a little bit more stylized, colorful, quirky and varied in its visual design than RDR2.

...Of course...a delay. Oh well 2018 it is then. And yeah Horizon I'd say has a slight artstyle, With the robotic dinosaurs and everything lol. But compared to RDR I'd say RDR goes for a more realistic artstyle. Also @Tyaren the exploration in RDR is actually pretty fun. You'd be walking through the forest and be attacked by Bears and Cougars and have to run to shelter in little cabins etc, It was pretty fun. No idea how this game will be though but I hope it's good.

I have no problem with it being delayed. There are too many good games now and they take so long to play. RDR2 looks awesome though. I was very hesitant about the first one as I'm not a huge wild west fan, but the game was really well made and like Jade says exploring was much more fun than expected.
