I am always Happy if the males get more stuff than the femals lol. Kasumi was just an example. My post refers in general lol I just pissed of when the females get always more than the males. No wonder why so many people doesnt take DOA seriously and make funy about this game. No wonder why there are so little players lol.

@Forlorn Penguin Win pose ? Nah that is not the central point.

Where the fuck is Zack's legendary winposes? HE HAD THE BEST! And oh yeah, DOA2 had better voice actors (except for Zack)

Okay, seriously. For one, before the arcade release, Kasumi was tied with Zack and Alpha for least winposes in the game. Secondly, she still just has four, and to my understanding one is character-specific. Ayane has five, counting her own char-specific one. And even disregarding char-specific and story-exclusive ones entirely, that sits Hitomi, Ayane, Akira, Sarah, Pai and La Mariposa as having four each (boost Mariposa up to seven if you count Lisa). If you're going to throw accusations of unfairness in winposes, Kasumi is not your best target.

You forgot that Helena also has 4 winposes now prior to 5U. 2 of her win quotes share the same winpose animation however.

As for doa6....i still want them to reveal Mila to be Leon's daughter and she hates/blames him for her mother's death.

...Uh... DOA2 so did not have better voice actors. A lot of those lines sound forced, like bad direction (or no direction). Not to mention awkward translation ("Uh-oh. You came again?"). It's kind of funny hearing it again after all these years, though. Especially Leon and Helena. Kasumi sounded reeeeeeeally young. lol

But, damn, they had a lot of poses back then, didn't they?

...I like how Ein seems to say "I'm coming" and "victory excites me" in the most awkward way possible, as if to eliminate the possibility of anyone considering it to be perfectly innocuous.

Agreed, some of the things he just plain ruins IMO. That said, he's still one of the better Hayabusa VAs they have got for him, the voice just doesn't fit is all.

Ok they need to either give Helena this costume + hairstyle, or throw it on Marie Rose because no joke this is the cutest. I love her hair in this picture though, all wavy/curly but long. DOA needs a girl with wavy long hair.

I love her hair in this image too. I wish it was Helena's loose hair option instead of the flat straight one but I'm not sure if that hair can be done (and look good) with the new bow on. The dress on the other hand, I'm curious how will that look like in an adult version but I don't mind it if TN will hand this down to Marie.

With the thought I had back then about Helena and Marie being childhood bestfriends (that caused quite a commotion in this thread), I can really picture them as that with Helena in this outfit while playing with porcelain dolls and having tea parties.

Who the hell pissed in your cheerios
Caught myself thinking about what I would want from a future DOA6 these past few days... The fighting is deep and good, it is competitive although no one seems to want to acknowledge it. I love it, and wouldn't change a thing. It is great that DOA has been getting more recognition lately in the FGC and hope it continues...

BUT. I would really like if they could expand on the game from a casual standpoint. This has been mentioned a couple of times before, but I would really love it if DOA6 incorporated some mini-games into the whole thing. DOAX and etc put a major stain in the series and I would really hate to see another one, but I would love a few resort inspired mini-games available on the main game. Clearing story could unlock a "resort mode" or whatever, where ALL characters can play a few rounds of volleyball or jet ski or whatever. It doesn't need to be much, just, you know, fun mini games to pass the time. This could also be a good opportunity for some side character development as well... Characters chatting each other up during rounds of pool, for example, could be very amusing. Probably goes against all kind of rivalries and canon, and seeing Rig casually chat with Kasumi (or Leon having chats with Tengu over some beers) would probably be extremely weird, but maybe it would be worth it if the conversation is entertaining.

Meh. Just dreaming on. I never played the DOAX titles, so I don't know about the quality of the actual gameplay on these activities, but if they could pull off a fun mechanic, I would really like to see it implemented.
See, the thing is, doing that takes time and money they could be using on improving the gameplay and stages. It could be nice to have little side things to do but I'd rather they put all their effort into the fighting considering how much of the above mentioned time and money it takes to make current (technically past?) and next (technically current?) gen games.

He did a much better job with Busa in NG3 but it's still pretty jarring hearing Snow and the male leader of the 3rd Street Saints voicing a character like Ryu Hayabusa
I think that may be part of the problem. See, I've only played/seen a couple other things with Troy Baker in it (I think) so the association isn't as strong for me. I think Baker sounds fine. Especially the grunts and such compared to the JP VA. I think if they had old timey-d up his lines in English more, then he probably could've sold it even better.

The DOA2 VA's voice was a little too deep in my opinion. It didn't quite match since they used the JP grunts anyway.
