If Ryu and Rachel exist in the DoA universe, does that mean the Ninja Gaiden fiends do too?
Maybe we could get an actual fiend on the DoA roster? It would make an interesting tag team with Rachel.

Thing is nobody will just sit there, it's damage into a setup as opposed to no damage into a possible set up + the possibility of punishing a whiffed stomp. I guess the idea of it is still good, but the move itself... have fun landing it. Never works for me. Guess the people I vs are just too used to her stomp and know that the possibility of a whiff stomp is better than a landing stomp. (... did that make sense? )

Yeah I understand. It's just the fact that the move is in her arsenal. Like I said you can still land it if timed right on walls and in corners.

What frustrates me with this patch isn't that there are no new characters (we expected that). Whether we want to believe it or not 5U (content-wise) appears to have hit its peak back in October with the halloween patch. This patch added none of the arcade features so it looks like the addition of MR and normal Lorelei are all we're getting from the cabinet.
What irks me the most was how all of this was handled and how (once again) they're looking for the quickest and laziest method to earn $$$. First off, TN getting everyone excited for an "unexpected" feature means that most players weren't expecting it. The gravure mode obviously doesn't fit that definition and (of course) they reused the vita's animations meaning minimal effort was put into it. Add to the fact that it costs $25 means this new "feature" gets a "hell no" from my wallet.

It looks so wrong. I'd prefer if they use a mask that is silver than something with gold but laziness aside, I think they used her C2 mask all because it's as colorful as the gemstones.

I completely feel your pain. I was really hoping for the cool arcade features ( though however small they are. ) like the little pictures of the characters eyes in the corner during a fight, or the ability to do all the customizations in a menu. As small and pointless as all that sounds, it's still something I believe makes our experience cooler. Like seeing Lei's pigtails with a specific costume, rather than having to wait till the match starts to see it. Small, but still a cool feature.
Also would have liked to have seen Marie Rose added to the corner, but not actually being selectable. Not sure it would have been possible though. But oh well, guess we have to wait! D= ( and I'm still hoping the customization menu in the char. select screen will be added... I get so lost when trying to find Lei's loose hair. )

Bitching about the gravure moves is meaningless. If you don't like it, just don't buy it. See it as a simple way for them to make money, that's all. Pervs are throwing them money, that's why they keep making bikinis and slutty outfits for the girls. End of the story.

i really dont mind them making money off these sorts of things at all. The money from this kinda shit is what helps them to work on the fighting game more, which is what matters the most.
More money for TN=good for all of us, i want more balance patches, system tweaks, etc.

As many people have said before, it doesn't really help when the money they earn goes back into making more swimsuits. I don't buy things just to "support" a company. They have to earn my $$.
Still no patch on Xbox. Sweet.
Just like there's still no Tengu. Sad for Xbox players, but great for DOA5U players.
