Again, you're not forced to see any of the softcore porn content. I've only purchased two or three DLC costumes and when I play online all I see are the C1 of most characters because I haven't downloaded the free sync files so when pervs select a slutty bikini, all I see is C1. Besides, the game's gameplay isn't being directly affected by the costumes.

Stop complaining.

I'm aware I'm not forced to see it, I know how to avoid it or seek it if I so please. So do most people here. WE are not the issue.

This addition reflects on the game. People that don't understand this game like we do see this, and it harms it. At least that is what I believe. I'm not against swimsuits or anything. A lot of people clearly want this. More power to them, and more power to Team Ninja for all the "free money", basically. But this "new feature" (which, as some people pointed out, isn't even new) plunges the game even further in the "second class waifu simulator" category (I just made that up, admittedly), which was pretty much the idea I had of it before picking it up (which I only did because it was free on PS+). TN's "marketing" is doing this game no favors.

Honestly, I'm torn in this issue. If they want to do it, whatever, it's their game. I just believe it is a bad move for everyone involved, even Team Ninja, even if only in the long run. The facebook debacle posted a few pages back regarding the backlash they got on the teaser images is proof enough of this. It's hard to take them seriously about this not being pornography if their next post is more bikinis, and youtube videos of grown women acting like they are 6 and rolling in the sand for no apparent reason. Again, we get it. It's their thing. I wouldn't say it's cool but I won't lose sleep over it. But a lot of people DON'T get it.

Sexy girls in skimpy outfits, pantyshots and boobs are part of DOA's games, it's a fact. I personally have no problème with this. What i still does not understand is WHY a game as deep and fun as DOA have the Fanserv as it's main selling argument. God ! What is the point !? DOA5U is from far the best 3D fighting game i've ever played, i don't understand why TN keep showing their game as a pure fanserv product...
I love most of the DLC, and keep requesting for outfits, but the "new feature" was not needed at all.
I wish TN could understand that they have other arguments than boobs...

Just took a look at this thread. A lot of interesting posts about swimsuit DLC, Tengu, etc. And now about the recent thing TN put out those private paradise videos.

Now no one is forcing anyone to buy this and I think TN could have put something more useful in like another character for example like Tengu(screw the tengu haters who want him out), or some outfits for the male characters as they don't get much as the female characters.

Now TN's target audience are casual fans of the series and unfortunately most of them keep buying the swimsuit DLC. And when people keep buying the swimsuits you will be getting more swimsuits. I do wish there were costumes made with more originality. I wouldn't mind if it just for the female characters just something that not swimsuits lol.

Also people will always bring up something to hate on DoA. These videos will not affect it. People will just bring up tits or swimsuits. These mostly come from Capcom fanboys. If it not made by capcom it not good in their eyes. DoA is very deep fighter and underrated. Still even the hate that DoA gets it still my favorite 3D fighter.

Thats Capcom. They put it ON the DISC. But don't hold that same gripe with other companies who actually do release ACTUAL DLC. Thats a discredit to TN, Netherrealm studios, etc., for actually making extra DLC.

The thing I dislike about the DLC not being on disc is I'm spending money on it to look totally kool :cool: and people like

can't even see it. Also, TRI Mike, isn't the only 'slutty bikini' pack that requires a compatibility download to see this newest one?

Which I'm happily buying. But as I asked before I got no update yesterday. I don't mean the patch or the costume catalog. And I could see the swimsuits, I've always had to download something to even see them locked away or some update. I'll ask you again how was this possible? you seem to know.

You must be talking about the first 3 swimsuit sets from Vanilla then...In that case, thats on the disc and they make you pay for it.

No sir the new ones I'm not new to the game I have 5. But anyway that was my point. without any download of any kind I was able to see the new ones I own Tina's as of now.
