Hey now, we don't know that yet... It was just a speculation. But the 4-directional thing is true. It's probably just her Kasumi Vanilla dash thing in all directions.

I think some people have to high hopes and expect to much. Let be serious at the end we see her gameplay it would be nearly the same as Kasumi and Alpha and then:

anyone else familiar with Melty Bloods Nero Chaos? I'm hoping her 4 point teleport is like his sidestep. I spammed the shit out of that broken sidestep, and him laughing each time was icing on the cake.

Alright I get that they aren't having Marie for free, I thought they might not - I anticipated being screwed haha. In all seriousness, after paying for vanilla, ultimate, and some silly costumes (I only wanted Helena's legacy but I might as well buy the whole pack right? - and while I'm at it, i buy the sports pack) paying for a character seems like a bit much. Those with the retail version ought to get a discount & if they don't... I don't see myself buying the character. in addition, i will support TN with caution in future games they develop. Oh and if they try to make it up to us by having her "free" for a week or some BS - I definitely won't buy it. I hate being teased! Haha

You DO know Kasumi, Hayabusa and Hayate all have teleport evades right?

Kasumi's are her advanced holds 9H and 3H, Hayabusa has Ongyoin H, Ongyoin 66/44 and 22/88 and Hayate has teleport cancels that leaves him behind his opponent.

Teleport evades are my personal indulgence in hypocrisy. Because they are fucking hilarious. good memories of hysterical moments like full screen multihit unblockable supers whiffing because of constantly teleporting lol. its like I'm the mole in wackamole, and I'm winning!

. too contextual, not the same. I'm talking controllable free teleports. aalso, I don't have a decade long hatred and disgust of Phase, so there's that in her favor. can we all agree on calling her Phase for short?

@Nameless Sama Kasumi Alpha is different from Kasumi Alpha Phase 4. These videos don't show the moveset of this new character :)

[ A new Kasumi clone created by Donovan’s organisation “M.I.S.T.” Code name is “Kasumi Alpha Phase-4”.

Phase-4 is Donovan’s “Project Alpha” most advanced clone weapon, meant to use for mass-production. She is the initial prototype model who has the memory and feeling of a human. Her existence is a deep sorrow. She was being sent to battlefield for operative testing.

She has high-level of stealth characteristic covered in black fog. She also has 4-directional high speed movement. Although her fighting style is based on Mugen Tenshin, she has her own independent modification. Her play style will feel different from Kasumi. ]

Again thanks to Airgear, it's nice to see the confirmation that also if called Phase 4, actually the cloaked girl is the prototype of the real phase 4 (the shapeshifting clones). Interesting to see like she kept a personality, very likely because MIST wasn't interested to work on it being just a subject for testing the future potential of the clones on the battlefield.

And like always happens with such kind of characters in the sci-fi stories, I can't wait for the moment where they will regret it because with these feelings she will end for passing to the good side fighting her ex-masters! ;)

Interesting that 4 directional high speed movement....

Why they bring Kasumi Clones if they gonna make a Hayabusa Clone :p Too much Kasumis :p
I have no against Kasumi Alpha but she is like a brash girl and I dont like so I always will love the orginal Kasumi :)

I am happy for marie rose cause she is really a new character. Hmm new characters are cool huh ? I agree
