Again, DOAN didn't handle it appropriately but I think before there's any "oh sorry we're a well-behaved community!" there needs to be some answers on TN's end first as well as an apology from them if Tengu is not added.

Maybe I'm wrong but I never thought that TN was making fun of the fans, on the opposite I think that they were just making a "words joke" on the theme of the deception (brought to the light by the fans, remember that that line was forgotten by TN in DoA4 if I'm not wrong) and the 1st April (and by the way Tecmo-Koei is for releasing even the fourth title of the series "Deception", so this could be also a subtle way for promoting it through the use of a such hashtag). Actually nor I think that the picture was intended to be a joke, to me seems more just a statement that Tengu rule the deception of the April Fools' day (and IMO a teaser for his next coming, thing that could be confirmed also from the leaks of the data-patch if they are right).
Seriously, before to enter yesterday in FSD all my reaction was a smile, my congratulations with the people that got the smart idea to relate Tengu's deception with the 1st April, and to answer to them with another funny picture in theme: https://twitter.com/Kronin1/status/451081815147565056

Team NINJA tweeted about him like 3 times yesterday, if it was a joke (which i doubt) then its a bit excessive. why cant people be optimistic, and take it as a teaser. at least there acknowledging his existence, their tweets basically confirmed he's not dead.. y'all are over dramatic.

Leon, Ein, and Tengu were requested pretty much at the same time Leon and Ein made it but Tengu fans were ignored it and they've been waiting ever since. it would be safe to assume that their patience is running out and TN is fucking retarded for doing this TWICE. someone please tell me how an entire company is this stupid? like not a single person stopped them and said "hey boss this probably isn't a good idea"

@Kodachi is right, Tengu is coming and the picture and the messages of yesterday are the evidence of it. I don't want repeat this like a broken disc but people, the phylosophy of TN is pretty clear: when you ask for something that will not be included in the game, they don't say nothing on the argument, with a silence that talk for itself. When they recognize something.... then you can be sure that they have already planned to take an action related to that content.
In the past they answered to a fan asking for Kasumi's ragnarok outfit available on Xbox, to another asking for old outfits for male characters, to another one asking for a contest for choosing an outfit voted from the fans... and after a period more or less long, all these ideas ended to be realized. It's this the reason because I get in high consideration every little hints that they give, because are always confirmations for things already setted from them: this is one of the reasons because when they say "If fans will ask for more legacy outfits they will be released", or "If fans will ask for Phase-4, she will be released sooner", I think that they are only playing (in an innocent way) with the fans, because actually they have already decided to make happen both the things
In no way "begs" are involved.If Team Ninja publicly recognized the wish of the fans for getting Tengu through their social networks (and not only yesterday, but also in 2 recent past occurrences), having to base my judgement on the past experience the most likely answer (not possible, but just the most likely) is that Tengu is for returning.
Of course I can't have the certainty like anyone of anything, but the chances appear to be really from his side this time.

I fully approve it: this could be a good idea hardly to be seen in a negative way (because for someting similar is not needed a simple spam but a real effort from the love of the fan for the character).

all of this because of the worst fucking day of year, seriously fuck april fools. every year its the same shit then on the few occasions where they do tell the truth every one tells them to stuff it, and people act surprised like "why are you being so mean!" caise oh yes silly us we're supposed to just believe everything they say on the day of celebrating liers and assholes. they could do this on literally any other fucking day of the year but no game developers are like "herp derp this will be funny"
