I finally succumbed to the idea of having a custom artwork on a arcade stick, so I'm getting my first one next month. A relative of mine is going for a trip to Europe, so it'll be pretty much a bargain compared to what I would cost in my country. So, anyway it would be this one WWE Brawlstick by MadCatz.
Well, I'm actually trying to see how it feels and of course try to get into playing with arcade sticks. Not sure how bad/good is it, but I for the price I don't expect to be more than "ok-ish" for a starter. And of course, I wanna put this badass :christie: art on it:

I've read it's actually the very same stick as SFIV TE edition. If that's correct I can use this template, right?

No. The Brawlstick is based on the standard edition FightStick, not the TE. The top panel is smaller.

If you're interested, I can cook something up for you for a small fee.

Yeah, I got my stuff mixed up it seems. (Street Fighter IV SE = Tatsunoko vs. Capcom = WWE Brawl SE)

After lurking a bit more, I found the right template for that stick, which is actually made by you.
Thanks for your offer, but I think I'll pass for now. When the times come, I'll surely reconsider it since I loved all the artworks you posted so far. Thanks again for the info.

It turned out much better than I expected. I appreciate all the hard work you did on this. I absolutely love it. Had fun test driving it today :D

When I have money to buy the parts for my WWE Brawl Stick I'll be using this artwork I did quickly in Photoshop and obviously the buttons will be clear.

And using this bubble top

I'm also kind of confused at what the difference between the various "feels" is. Can anyone clarify?

So this project has been funded and hopefully people will get them sometime this year...

For anyone that's still confused about about the different various types of "feels," this post does a nice job at describing the differences between the various types of switches: http://www.overclock.net/t/491752/mechanical-keyboard-guide#post_6009482
However, the article is speaking specifically in regards to keyboards but it's still useful.

I think it's going to be fun to try out the various types but I'm likely leaning towards to blue or brown... maybe even the black. I'll see in actual testing when I finally get them. My biggest issue now is that they'll look ugly as sin in my Chun Li TE but I'm reluctant to mess with its appearance. =(

Wow everyones creations here are so killer. These make the Official ones look lame. So people here will customize sticks for others, for money? I would love to have a custom DOA stick but don't trust my own skills.

Fun fact, I have 3 buttons and 6 Cherry MX switches (3 red, 3 blue) from Pei for testing.

The reds are at least 10dB quieter than Sanwas and Seimitsus.

I'm not really concerned with the noise as I am with how they feel. I would like a little more resistance to them because I feel items like Akira's knee would be easier to pull off. I have two TEs, a Chun Li and a SFxT, and despite both of them having stock buttons, the resistance is better on the SFxT and I have a lot easier time pulling things off on them. So out of the buttons you have, I would lean towards the blue.

Sorry if this has already been posted or asked before (my comp has trouble with this thread for some reason). But, where can I get the correct sized template for the WWE Brawl/SFIV SE stick? I want to start playing around with artwork for a (future) custom stick. And, those are fairly priced for me so I will start there. I googled it but got a bunch of dead links. Thanks in advance.
