You know in BlazBlue Continuum Shift when making a lobby you could choose between version 1.01 and version 1.02. Choosing to play on the original version of the game or the newly rebalanced one, I see no reason DOA5 could not have this feature added in.
Replays are still messed (mind you, only 2 of my last 13 saves were screwed up so it's a huge improvement) and this is a thread about a glitched patch. And you really don't see a reason two running versions won't work?

Yeah, i dont like the idea of two vertions, because if they keep patching, thing the should do, it will create more problems in the long run.

All I want to know is how this benefits Zack, because I'm not really sure yet

See? People don't even know their own characters sit downs and want to be taken seriously in an opinion.

The only opinion that should matter in this poll are the top players, IMO.

When he puts you into a sitdown stun, you can not hold his follow ups. Meaning he'll do more damage and be able to do what characters like Jann and co are already doing.

I recently tweeted they should let the 360 patch go as is and gather more feedback.

Crossing fingers to play DOA5 tomorrow as I had a very small taste last Friday of the PS3 update, otherwise I'll be in the lab with Cammy and King in SFxTekken . . .

Yep I like the game and if you plan on going to IPL for DOA5, it might be worth leveling up in.

My Lars and Heihachi get some work every once in a while. Need to get back into Marvel though. Been months since I played and it was months prior to that too lol. DoA5 doesn't get touched until the patch hits 360 for me.

Really? This is not some official Team Ninja poll that will decide the fate of the game. Stop being a douche.

Then I'm all for it.

my only issue with this 'glitch' is how it could turn doa into some bnb fighter like teken or umvc3. you're going to have it where people will desperately try to just land that one stun that will lead into some half-health combo.

doa has always been about mind games and crushing your opponents attacks and finding an opening, really don't want it turned into some turn based bnb fighter.

Hopefully it won't turn out that way.

The Problem is that smaller Health Bar! Some Char have a Big advantage like jann or Tina. One failure you lost 50-70 Procent Health. Thats Not my DOA5 that i Love

No it hasn't. For fucks sakes just because the only game half of you have ever played was DoA4 doesn't mean all the DoA's played like that. And for the record, even DoA4 had bnb's, get over it, there is nothing wrong with bnb setups.

I'm REALLY getting tired of the "that is not DoA" crap. If you don't want to get smacked by a critical burst then learn how to defend better, simple as that. God forbid a game adds new mechanics and changes things around in an attempt to make it a better game. But according to most of you we can't have that. No, It has to play like "DoA" of which most of you refer to DoA4, which was the furthest thing from any DoA game EVER.

You don't have a very good sense of history if you believe that is the case.

The entire purpose behind Eliot as a character is to have priority at range and up close so he is always the one initiating pressure. Having this priority means he sacrifices guaranteed damage setups from strike, and instead he uses the stun game to incredible affect using his super launcher throw in combination with his iWR3P to play a very dangerous game of chicken with his opponent.

It is very straight forward and very effective. It's also the closest thing resembling DOA 4, as he is probably one of the only characters who can operate under that play style efficiently due to the priority of his attacks giving him such heavy command of the match.

So no, Eliot does not need CB or sit downs to compete. This is why I have to keep slapping Eliot players upside the head when they whine about their main character who they have no idea how to play. The real problem with Jann Lee is that he does not need easy access to the stun game from dragon gunner. In fact if they removed that bulk of advantage and just gave him a wall-aligning 66K out of that he would just be fine and people would complain far less in general.

Jann Lee's issues are not with his damage. They are with his ability to bypass all forms of defense without really doing anything to justify it. Dragon gunner into death is the reason you see big damage from him so often, because its the easiest way to open someone up out of the entire cast. Yes, he has to be close to use it, but thanks to him having some of the best ranged tools in the game this is an issue pretty much never because unless you are either Eliot or Hayate, you have to let him attack first.. When Dragon Gunner does what it was intended to do, this problem will disappear completely.

Eliot is my Second Main i know he dont Need the burst. 236throw and lets go. Well to win with some Char like jann so much easier than with Chars like eliot.

As said, if TN would dismantle the dragon gunner and repurpose it that problem would be solved. Don't blame things like guaranteed damage off of sitdowns though. Thats the symptom, not the cause.
