On the bright side, $5 a month is tons better than paying $10 a month. I'm disappointed about paying for online too, but thinking about it that way, it's much more reasonable.

I actually don't care myself the irony is just thick as hell is all. I thought XBL was a great service and was worth it. I would have PS+ anyway if I were to have a PS. I'm just being objective here and pointing out all the fanboyism going on. I skipped PS3 but its back to PS4 now.

To be fair, I think the Xbox One has the better exclusives. Unfortunately, the Xbox One also treats me like a criminal and insists on getting all up in my bidness. My PS4 is already preordered. Regarding the freezing on stream, I believe that was the actual stream. It was only "freezing" when they were cutting from the game to camera and vice-versa.

Not really. When it was freezing, they cut the camera to try and make it less apparent. On multiple instances you can see the players on stage moving, while the image on screen was still frozen. It's definitely a PS4 issue.

It froze once during the Destiny demo too but they hid it well. Honestly it's to be expected. Most of the audience understood it was unfinished software on non-final hardware so it was fine.

Its like. . .Microsoft has been feeding us BS exclusives for the last 3 years and charging for online.

And then I look over at PS3 and they have the lions share of the great exclusives from this gen.

Forza, Gears and Halo are cool but Uncharted, Killzone, Ratchet, Last of Us, Ico/Shadow, The MMO's and the numerous other exclusive are overwhelming.

Its fine that they are coming out with all these exclusives for the One, but what happened during the 360 life cycle? They found a few franchises that sold and iterated on them over and over - sure the quality got better in almost every case but what happened to 2005 - 2007 when it was a slew of games in a number of different genres?

Why does it matter if it was freezing? Neither the Xbox one or PS4 hardware was being used. It was dev kits/pcs speced to emulate what they can perform. Could have been tech issues with the dev kit itself

Xbox one had tech issues with B4 and Sony had tech issue with AC4

People expect the PS4 to beat the XBO. But, I'm not so sure. Why? Because the Xbox always has had the worst image on the internet, and they still manage to be successful. RROD, paying for XBL, proprietary non-swapable hard drives, multiple discs, Kinect... It's always MS that suffers the worst of it. And yet, they're still in the business.

I've been "flocking" ever since the reveal of Kingdom Hearts III. There's my excuse

The freezes were due to bad code on LIKELY rushed builds, which should certainly be cleaned up by the time the final builds are released.

Why are people acting like this is some kind of "PS4 problem"? For one thing, seeing freezes just shows that there was live code actually running on something, and what was being shown wasn't just a video of "target footage".
