Just for future reference, we are no longer having casuals at Triple Crown. Place is great for the TCG commuity (MTG, YGO, and Vanguard alike, I myself being a YGO player). But the shop is very inconsistent with having events AND mutual hangouts/casuals for gaming. So we are no longer having casuals there.

On another note, good games to VincentRayne and Air Gear offline tonight at Vincent's friend's place. Looking forward to playing and hanging out with you guys again next weekend.

i will be more ready next time. dat 3 week break from DOA5 is too OP. forgot damn near everything and felt like i was starting to learn how to ride a bike all over again.

Hello everyone! I am currently stationed in Monterey, CA. I'm not sure how far that is from the SoCal region but if anyone is interested in getting together for some offline sessions during the weekends then I'm down! I currently don't have a car but I may rent one soon. So if you don't mind the drive then you'd be greatly appreciated. Also, there is a recreational center on base that's perfect for a tournament environment. I may look into holding tournaments there if I get permission, and if you guys think it would be a great idea. The systems are already provided but you may want to bring your own copy of the game and extra controllers just in case. With that being said, please feel free to contact me if you're interested. :)

NOTE: I know this is the SoCal thread, but anyone in Monterey or nearby may contact me as well. Just shoot me a PM.

hey everyone just wanted to let you know Im not dead. Been dealing with a lot of stuff the past few weeks. I wont be able to make it out to BOB but wish everyone the best. Hopefully I can get back on line soon and get some games in

Yeah, I've talked with em and told him about the gatherings. I'll talk with em again on Friday (I have class Thursday) and see if he and his friend would like to join up on Saturday.

It's high time this thread got active again.

Players in Southern California that I'm "aware" of and are actively going to gatherings that VincentRayne hosts every Saturday are the following;

- VincentRayne
- HajinShinobi
- Ikodomo
- Snakz
- O Harribel O (new)
- Red Reaper (every now n then)

Players out here I know who have potential to join us are;

- Douglas Nguyen
- Brute
- Hydeistlarc

If others have been getting together in "SoCal" regularly, that's awesome. But I feel like more of us should get in contact and try getting something a bit larger going (NorCal players are going in hard with casuals and us SoCal players need to do the same). I know there are a lot of you here in SoCal and aren't speaking up.

If you are in the Los Angeles area, feel free to speak up if you're interested in having casuals with the players I've mentioned above. Local offline gatherings are a lot of fun and is a great way to practice and meet more players. We should try expanding our game together and try growing a larger scene out here in SoCal (and in California in general).
