They give Leifang the wrong stats in just about every game.

They keep giving Leifang a "medium" Power stat despite her having some of the highest damage potential.

Leifang is given 2 highly devastating throws in the game that can lead to a down attack that does 50% more damage than most other down attacks. So, with the combined damage of her combo throw and down attack, she pretty much has the same throwing damage potential as a full on power grappler like Bass and Tina.nox vidmate mobdro

Unlike most characters, her kicks don't knock her opponents away, so opponents are always at range for more punishment no matter which kick she uses. She literally has no kicks that cannot lead into another attack (albeit some being very unsafe). Kicks also happen to be the most stable source of high damage output in the game.

As if she did not already have every single possible hold available, she has a parry/crush option for almost every attack in the game and almost every single one of them leads to a combo.

And because of the changes from DoA5 to DoA6, she lost some bread and butter combos in exchange for a 50/50 vortex and so many attacks that she cannot reliably use offensive holds before are now reliable.

If you're not careful now, Leifang can easy take a round with two attack chains without using stage/wall gimmicks.

With that being said, I feel that her "power" rate is the most deceptive stat shown in the game.

You shouldn't really take the "stats" that seriously in DOA, even in DOA5 they were highly inaccurate and often don't truly represent what a character can do. Her damage in the game isn't the heaviest imo, she does average damage like other characters but her defensive tools and counters are what really act as a catalyst to increase her damage output so her damage potential is already pretty high but everyone in DOA6 can do alot of damage as well

Also tbh everyone's throws in the game are dangerous, especially on hi counter since damage for throws is higher than in DOA6. And everyone in the game can pretty much take a round with a few good attack chains, Leifang can just do it quickly if she makes the right reads and plays smart defensively like she's been in every game.

Thank you, I was about to say something to him. But you cleared that up. Leifang is definitely not strongest.

Throw damage in DOA6 is greater actually. The Hi-counter percentage and revision was increased by 10% in DOA6.

But for the most part, KasumiLover is correct. Jann Lee's stats in DOA5 stated he has terrible throw output, but yet he has two throws that are actually pretty lethal in damage, on top that he has a wall reset throw. In the early build of DOA5LR, Honoka had all her stats maxed out which is nowhere near true to which TN later corrected, but even if it was corrected, it stands to little value due to DOA having a triangle system.

I once believed that maybe the stats pertain to something else entirely such as priority or what to expect with usage based off it's stats (such as Bayman where he has max stats for holding which makes sense outside the box). If Jann Lee's throw stat is weirdly low, perhaps it's more of his strikes being more priority (or more important) than his throws which I also don't believe since he can take advantage of both so eh, I never take them serious.
