I'm glad Chun is getting some buffs. She has great poking tools, but lack anti-air options. Also hoping for a damage buff on her Ultra 2.

I just wonder if this extra effort toward balancing means Daigo will be able to win EVO again ... lol

Depends. Daigo hasn't been really playing to win as of late. If you watch his matches, he's not as "hungry" for it compared to players like Xian or Infiltration.

That said, who knows what Ultra will bring. I've already heard reports that he may be tier whoring in the tests again. And you all do remember what happened the last time he did this right (AE Yun)?

The last two EVOs, Daigo has just seemed "content" with making it to Sunday's Top 8. He was up there cracking smiles during matches, whereas prior years, he'd be STONE FACE KILLER mode the ENTIRE tournament.

And AE Yun. Daigo was an absolute DESTROYER, until ... Poongko. I actually think losing that tournament ended up being a relief for Daigo as he could let go of the pressure of defending a championship on the world stage. Maybe that's part of why he seems more relaxed nowadays. No one will ever question his legacy in the game at this point, so now he can allow himself to simply play for his own self-satisfaction.
