Been coming here for a few weeks now in anticipation of DoA5. Figured I might as well sign up.
Use this thread for discussion on unlockables or any questions regarding anything unlockable, titles, costumes, etc.
Confirmed Unlockables:
Characters:
Akira - Play through Story Mode
Sarah - Play through Story Mode
Gen-Fu - Clear Eliot's Chapters in Story Mode
Pai - Obtain 100 titles
Alpha-152 - Obtain 300 titles
Stages:
The Lab - Clear Story Mode
Higher Difficulty Courses in Arcade/Time Attack/Survival:
True Fighter: Successfully complete the Champ course in Arcade mode, Survival mode, or Time Attack mode
Master: Successfully complete the True Fighter course in Arcade mode, Survival mode, or Time Attack mode.
Legend: Successfully complete the Master course in Arcade mode, Survival mode, or Time Attack mode.
Costumes: Every character has a specific costume count and most are obtained by running through arcade/time attack/survival multiple times, but at different difficulties each time. Therefore, you cannot unlock 2 costumes for tina by going through arcade-rookie twice. It would have to be arcade rookie and arcade easy. Each difficulty in each mode will net you a costume until there are no more or only rares left. The exception to this is for Kasumi. 2 of her costumes are unlocked by completing story mode. Below is a costume count for each character:

There are 3 rare costumes to be unlocked in addition to the above mentioned method. The 3 characters with these rare costumes are Christie, Tina, and Lisa.
Tina: Defeat Tina in Arcade mode on Legendary difficulty without using a continue
Christie: Defeat Christie in Time Attack mode on Legendary difficulty without using a continue
Lisa: Defeat Survival mode on Legendary difficulty.
Character System Voice
To obtain each character's system voice, you need to complete their individual button command training session in training mode.
