Hey guys, been a long time fan of this series. Looking for players in the PNW area for games, as I don't see a thread less than a year old for us up in the rainy states. My brother and I throw weekend sessions for learning/comp, and while our group is mainly people who compete in AE, KoF, and marvel, we have a split of tekken and DOA hopefuls also. Would love to boost PNW DOA scene, but I never see anyone.

The Pacific Northwest is pretty large... where about do you live? I've got an active Tekken group in Tacoma... and I've been picking up DoA for reading exercise...

Sorry for the generalized thread. Haha, are you in Seattle Tekken? Because my brother and I run "the kimchi dojo" in Federal Way. I know there are quite a few south siders in WA for tekken.

Yeah I'm in Seattle Tekken... I'm basically running it right now... but I know of the Kimchi Dojo... Heaton is up on Federal way and he's expressed interest in learning DoA... I usually do Tekken on Tuesdays and Thursdas at Smash games in Tacoma...

Yeah that's why I put in their cities in my post the two in WA cause I wasn't sure if you were talking about offline or online. I'll tag them for you although I don't think either of them log on much. Madian he's Seattle and avi is the one in Kent.

Thanks! I don't see too many people playing DoA online when I try to get random ranked or even rooms... I can play on either system offline, its just I'll need to bring a converter for xbox if that's what people play on.

Yeah same I have a PS1/2 converter for my xbox, but I need that PS1/2 converter for PS3. I'm in most cases without a controller when playing on PS3 always gotta borrow someone's controller.

Sorry for not getting back on this sooner. Uh, as for what system, I have the game for both systems. So if ya'll ever want to play, we can play on whichever system floats your boat.

Also, psylence, who are you on seattle tekken if you don't mind me asking. In the FB group you can find me if you search for Han.
I picked up TTT2 this year, but dropped it to focus on AE for Evo. Honestly, can't wait till after evo so I can spend more time on some of the 3D fighters.

No worries... I'm 'Evan Shimono' or 'Psylence' on Seattle Tekken... I play on ps3 pad... but I've got a ps2 pad and converter for xbox, so offline I can play on either... If you want to get some games in at the Kimchi dojo sometime, post up here and I'll see if I can make it up

Oh, Evan? I should have realized that the Nina user would also go with Sarah, haha. For sure I'll let you know. I want to start making those Smash weeklies once evo is over, really craving a TTT2 fix....

Yeah you should have known the Nina player would go with Sarah :p

By all means though, come down to Smash! I'll help you out with Tag... that game is such a monster to learn... but waaay worth it. Though if you want to learn Tekken, I recommend downloading Tekken Revolutions... its basically a simplified version of Tekken where everyone has a Shoruken style move.
