What is tracking/no tracking?

In training mode, when I opened the display, when I press P it shows this:
High/Strike/No tracking

What is no tracking? If I press P, K using Sarah, it shows tracking.
What is tracking/no tracking? Can someone explain it to me?

It will hit you when you side step.

No tracking means those moves can be sidestepped.
Tracking means even if you sidestep it will hit you because it tracks your movement.

Basically the DOA terminology for linear vs circular.
