Tellin you, the military should drop all that light bending cloaking research crap and just investigate octopuses instead.
We'd get even better results (ie actually matching textures AND colors) even faster.
Even more insanity to note: This particular octopus can achieve the same color and texture as its target before it even touches it. Why is this so impressive? ITS COLORBLIND.
Without using either touch or sight to shapeshift into stuff, I mean it's sure as hell not doing it through smell, taste or hearing. . . how would that even work?
