Which Fighting Stick do I buy?

I bought a Qanba as well. Great stick, love my "carry handle" that thing saved my arm at evo this year having to carry it around all day. Was easy to mod as well and i put some custom art on there. I will probably be changing out the art again soon though. I am working on a Tina Template but finding DoA fan art that is both well done and not straight porn can be more challenging than I thought. I had to go scan the concept art out of the guidebook.

+1 for qanba, or fusion if you don't like the start button on the surface:\. I have two sticks, a mad catz round 1, and 2. I love them both but would recommend the qanba or fusion.

Those Hori sticks are the same stick.

I've played with both the new Hori and Qanba Q4. They are both good.

I'd recommend a MadCatz one, that's what I got, except it only works for ps3. Kinda annoying whenever I wanna go to tourneys.

And that is the exact reason why the qanba is superior for those who are not comfortable breaking their warranty. For the same price as the mad catz you can get a Qanba which comes with ps3, pc, and 360 support stock.

You linked to a Fusion, not a Qanba. =P

I do kind of want the Fusion Ebony myself...

The EightArc sticks are, as far as I can tell, manufactored by Qanba so I don't understand the difference between linking to a Q4 or a Fusion (besides the basic minimal hardware differences between the two).

I want a stick for Dead or Alive 5 (For Akira Mainly) Any suggestions? I seen Perfect Legend using a Dead or alive 4 fight stick I think but I want a newer one.

I use Qanba and I'm an Akira player. I love it so much, I'm just about to order another one. They're durable, they have high quality materials, and are easy to customise (if you're into that).
I've heard good things about Hori and madcatz as well, but I will "stick" with Qanba. Get it? eh? So punny.. Ok I'll stop.

I have a Qanba and I actually got the DOA 5 stick just because.. it's actually really good. If you want a dual-mod, get a Qanba for the handle or a Fusion for the start button layout.

Fusions are literally just slightly-modified Qanbas. (Eightarc literally takes Qanba Q4s and just switches the position of the Start button. That's pretty much the only significant change. Everything else function-wise is identical to Qanba)

Anyway, I just bought a Fusion and I love it. But if you don't want to spend $200, then a Qanba Q4 is your next best bet:

The Q4 is the only Qanba series that works on both PS3 and 360, which is INCREDIBLY important for anyone who is serious about playing competitively. Whether you go Qanba Q4 or Fusion, they're all high-quality well-worth the price that will last for while and you can easily replace the buttons when they do start to go bad. (no need for soldering* because these sticks use "quick connects" which you merely unplug and plug the new button in)

*This is why I don't go with Hori. They insist upon soldering their wires which means to do any sort of repair or even customization, you have to RIP OUT the wires and re-solder them back in. You're basically breaking and then fixing your stick, whereas with Qanba/Fusion there's no need to "break" your stick in the first place. Also Hori refuses to make sticks that work on both PS3 and 360.
