I really don't think any of the NG cameos will play a big role in DOA6.. They're the perfect candidates for disc-locked content though. They have nothing to do with DOATEC and the NG nuts would pony up the extra cash

I don't think they will be disc locked contents. They are really popular characters.

I don't think TN is going down the disc locked content route imo it looks like they've found a better marketing strategy. Release the game with X amount of characters --> release new characters in arcades first and then later to consoles as paid DLC --> profit.

And I'll bet any money DOA6 Arcade will come out much earlier than the console release just like the Tekken series to draw in more crowds to the arcade.

Since there's a trend of VF characters coming over, why not put Vanessa Lewis in the game? Don't give me the whole "There's already an MMA chick in the game" because we have 5 ninjas, a clone of Kasumi with another on the way.

I love Vanessa, but shes not only redundant due to Mila, but also Leon. I always considered Vanessa a straight genderswap of Leon, then Mila is that, WITHOUT still looking exactly like him as a girl.

I'd only want DOAxVF if they could actually balance it. Sarah says they cannot. Anyways, I'd want Nicole back as a huge Filipino girl with a new Juggernautish moveset, for a new character, Vanessa the rave/club/shuffle girl I designed. for another ng import, Doku. For another Sega guest, Sonic Boom Knuckles (he's tall enough now!), or bring back Bean and Bark.

Yeah, let's keep Knuckles in Sonic, @Argentus . I think Ryo Hazuki should be the next Sega character. And the funny thing is, a lot of people have ruled him out despite Hayashi's interest bringing him in.

I think Team Ninja could do something really cool with him, and I enjoyed Shenmue so I think he would be a cool addition for me. Though a lot of people speculate his style would be boring, or similar to Akira Yuki, I think TN would knock it out of the park like they have been with new characters.

I'm half joking about Knuckles. we have goofy characters like alpha, tengu, and phase 4, so with his new humanlike proportions, Boom!Knux wouldnt actually look that out of place in DOA anymore...

It's not a speculation DOAN XD Ryo has really a moveset similar to Akira (just because originally AKira had to be the main character of the game) and the same Team Ninja stated it to Emperor Cow (just like a reason for not including Ryo in DoA game already including Akira).

By the way this doesn't exclude a Ryo in DoA6 that if the collaboration between TN and AM2 will continue (but I've to say that would be really sad to get the so long waited return of a such loved character like guest character of a game and not in the wished sequel of his series...).

All I want is a new male, but they should really make a shota male. I mean, they made Marie rose as a Gothic loli who looks cute , young, small, and underdeveloped, so why not an 18 year old shota who is small, looks underdeveloped, cute, and able to use his size to his advantage as well? I suggested the idea to tecmos Facebook page and twitter

I just thought shota would be new and refined, because Eliot is a pretty boy, ryu is similar to a bishonen, and many of the guys including ryu are muscular to a degree, even Eliot. So why not create a smaller, underdeveloped male who can fight with the larger fighters, like Marie rose? That would make fans of shota fighters practically flock in masses to DOA5U, just like loli fans for Marie rose!
