Who is upset that Soul Calibur did not give Ryu the chance to appear as a guest playable character?

All the time did we desire to witness Ryu in a fighting game utilizing his sword but Bamco keeps on adding more guests than Ryu.

If he were to appear, would he be considered a PS exclusive? He may have to fight amongst the likes of Dante, Cloud, etc in order to be in that game.
