I think we need to do more to get the community interested in the game and, in turn, the community itself, and I like listening to podcasts so I figured this would be a venue to accomplish this. I've got zero experience myself so obviously it'll be a little slow starting out but the main issue is I don't have anyone with whom to talk! I'm thinking of doing this biweekly at first and if successful eventually going every week, possibly when a new DOA game comes out and there's a lot of new information to discuss. I'd like to cover news, rumors, strats, good games, reader mail and occasional guests and anything else you guys can suggest. I'd be willing to pay for hosting via libsyn as they've got a $15/mo plan that looks fair. Of course, if no one is interested in contributed as co-host(s) or with topics and strats then this would be for nothing. We'd be talking over Skype (free) and recording out individual voices locally with Audacity (free) so that they can be sent to me and so that I can mix them.
