I doubt they'd care. But if they did for some reason, they would find out who was who the minute the next round begins or they go to the character select.

Okay thanks anyway ! In DoA4 was so that they name always switched. In that case everybody in the lobby could see who is using which character.

Why? The gals aren't getting any skimpier than they are in DOA now and so DOAX3 would basically be DOA5 but with 1/2 the roster and totally shit gameplay.

They are simply re-using the old X2 swimsuits with some of them just getting modified but in general, it isn't entirely new to begin with so I don't expect X3 to release anytime soon unless they are able to come up with a fresh batch of swimsuit sets for everyone.

Hopefully soon, I'd like to see how it would turn out with the new graphics. Plus I'd like to see how the new swimsuits and collections for the girls will be like. Hopefully they add more interesting games and just return volleyball,jet ski, and casino

I know no one would ever top Bass, Bayman and Leon's asses if Butt Battle was added.

ROFL I don't think Bass could even FIT on an inflatable platform let alone play butt battle on one. I'd prefer him trading in his bike for a jet ski (having flames come out of the customized exhaust pipe during boosts of course

Well, he went under a weight-loss program during the 2-year time skip and seemed like it did pay off well, but if it's a butt battle between any of the 3, they are probably going to need a sturdier inflatable platform, something that won't let the super heavyweights sink. XD

Only if the game is done as poorly as DOAX2, which I even admit was buggy and rushed.
If Sega AM2 co-developed it and added some spice to the volleyball and jetski minigames, who can say? I mean, Sega's already distributing DOA5U as a coin-op and showering them with VF guest characters, for cryin' out loud. Oh hell... resurrect Beach Spikers and put in the girls of DOA as guest characters. It's a fair tradeoff.
Personally, as much as I would like a new DOAX game, I believe implementing the two core minigames - volleyball and jetski - into the next DOA sequel as a side minigame to serve a purpose in unlocking special features/content is the safer route... at least for now.

If we're going to get a DOA spinoff, give us the canceled Code Chronos, or just give a bit of focus to Kasumi/Hayate and co more in Ninja Gaiden 4. Maybe a stealth esque game with Bayman or Christie as the main characters or even a prequel story as Ein/Kasumi giving even more depth on what was going on in during DOA2.
There are tons of imaginative ways to expand the DOA universe without putting the females in skimpy swimsuits and watching them prance around.
