Tekken has like 40+ characters which leaves room for more comical characters with DOA on the other hand having less than half of that Roster.
So yea...DOA isn't generally serious...

DoA4 is the only DoA in the series that went stupid with its endings. If you look at the other DoA titles (especially doa3) the tone was much darker/serious with the exception of zack being the comic relief.

Because people don't play every fighter with the intention of being the next Ash Ketchum - I only look forward to Blazblue 3 because it may finally put a bow on the story.

Also, Endings should be the payoff for a given characters storyline but in DOA4 its mostly just used as an excuse for A) Titties B) Wackiness or C) Aerosmith joints and as much as I love me some "Livin on the Edge" I would much rather get a punctuation.

If Kasumi's rationale for participating in DOA4 was getting Dononvan to transform her into a fish from the pussy region down, then her ending would have been fine but I think she was out to kill Alpha Kasumi. . .

At least with "Treasure Hunting with Zack and a Random Ho" it fell in line with who he is as a character.

Which makes his statement very plausible pertaining to the topic regardless of how anyone feels about it. You want to dicuss endings, make a thread for it. It certainly is a big topic if you want to go through the entire series.
