Dude, you live an hour away from where Blackula and I will be running DoA tournaments on a fairly regular basis, I definitely encourage you to come on out!
I will surely try my best to go to as many of those tourneys as possible :)
I have the CE paid off for both actually. I'll play 360 primarily but I'll be practicing on both consoles.
oh ok, well im currently working on getting a new 360 but until then i will be mostly on PS3...hopefully i can get a new xbox before release!

From playing the gvn build this weekend, unholdable stuns are infact unholdable. Chris is absolutely correct in his break down of the gif. Guaranteed damage could of been had, but another choice of action took place. The game is solid, and will not be shown directly in these vids when no one is playing how doa5 should be played. Side stepping alone changes the meta game, and rarely anyone did it. Trust, this is not Doa4, the game is very good...on a Vf5 status good, but more action packed.

Definitely agreed. I can't wait until the game is played correctly.

If you're getting a 360 just for DoA I'd recommend instead finding another controller that can be used for both systems. If you had a stick I'd say look into getting it dual modded and you'd be set. But for pad I'd say ditch the PS3 pad, get a PS2 pad and use this when playing on your PS3:

And one of these when playing on a 360:

oooh thanks, but I'll be fine :) I can adjust between ps3 and xbox360 controllers with ease so I'll be fine.

Well, that was fun. I see Kasumi is actually back to her old self now, before she got completely wrecked in DOA4. Now she's actually VIABLE.

Kasumi has got a lot of her old moves back which widens her options. she finally has mid kicks now besides her :3::K: which i didn't like since u had to run up and jab to follow up with anything most of the time. All of her teleport moves have been brought back so it adds some creativity and flashiness definately haha i cant wait until people really become good with her. Should make for interesting matches along with her new throws and launchers

thanks, it was just a great feeling to know i could make it so far on my first try. hopefully i get people to recognize my name soon.
Shoot man, I already got your name down... Taking out Mamba like that, Kudos. Your Christie was pretty damn good. And, once you get down the new mechanics people better watch out.

What new throws have you seen? I havent seen any yet? Her 33Throw is the same as her dimensions one but different than her DOA4 one but thats all i can think of, but its not really new then. And i know her wall throw has a new animation is all. But overall yeah i like the new Kasumi a lot, the only thing i hate is her old 6KK attack doesnt stun or launch on hi counter anymore. It was my most used attack too.
