She's literally just Starfire, but with clothes on. I mean, it could be an alt skin for Starfire, but as her own character? I don't see the point.

well you're never gonna get the cartoon version lol.
Any versions of characters from the teen titans cartoon will never see the light of day outside of that cartoon. The most you can get is little references (like how the first Injustice had Cyborg say "Booya" and was voiced by Karey Payton or whatever his name is).
This is because the cartoon's versions are so radically different that they literally can't work in normal DC. Beast Boy/Changeling isn't an idiot, Raven isn't an asian goth with telekinetic powers who says azarath metreon zinthos, Starfire is nowhere NEAR anything as pure as that XD, Deathstroke isn't a behind the scenes mastermind, etc, etc, etc.
it's like Disney's take on Big Hero 6. awesome as original creations, but so utterly alien from the source they can't even be adapted back into the comics

i'm guessing it's one of the shitty new52 redesigns that by now has been totally ignored and forgotten?
and it's not that the hair needs to be big and poofy, its that Starfire looks odd with "perfectly straight" hair. Comicsstarfire always at least had wavy hair, its just the cartoon that gave her straight hair, and that's one of the things they tried to move into the comics, but like everything else from the cartoon, it just looks weird lol.
That said, I DO Wish they'd port some of the totally original characters over to the comics. Mumbo Jumbo, Control Freak, Red X. I know they brought over Mas y Menos, but they were so silly they couldn't do any more than a background cameo. And they did the same with Cinderblock.
They could go literally any direction with Starfire, there are so many iterations of her + Injustice is an alternate universe, so it could be a completely new design, my concept is just based on what I think would look cool in a fighting game. I trust whatever Rocksteady comes up with wont disappoint I'm pleased with most of the character design so far.

Not trying to offend anyone, just pointing out that hoping for designs based off the 2000's cartoon isn't likely. It's not a matter of "what i like", it's the fact that the cartoon designs are literally seen nowhere else. They did try to tone down Starfires classic design into something like the cartoon but it's been 50/50 because it's so different from what starfire looks like aside from skin color.
it's like when the first injustice came out and people complained that Raven wasn't like her cartoon design, they wanted the "real raven" It's like guys the injustice design IS the "Real Raven". Or close enough to it, at any rate.
for comparisons sake.

i'm not sure mortal kombat is the game for that, unless you think finishers are enough to draw people in. Not bad but it's hard to just casually get into due to the mechanics.
also came across this while looking up other "cartoon/comics" comparisons and it made me laugh pretty hard.
can we get a Lady Legasus costume for Raven this time around? XD

Yeah well I tried easing them in with games that have easier mechanics but they're not interested in the gameplay..... hence why I've set my sights on some Well Known Super Heroes.
