The korean female character would be a kpop idol and trained martial artist who entered the tournament to promote her group.
I mean It would definitely be popular with Kpop being so huge now.

I always thought of that as a way to cash in on the Kpop type scene back then with how the girls wore matching sexualized ensembles
They could also do a trap type character since they are also quite popular nowadays even tho I don't understand how guys can like that and say they're still straight xD

A Kpop Female character would actually be pretty great, and it could introduce a new audience to DOA. Also I think them making one would appeal to both Western & Eastern audiences, cute enough to appeal to one side but cool enough to appeal to the other

The female character will probably be on the Young woman spectrum (Hitomi/Lei Fang) as oppose to the young girl (Marie Rose/Honoka) or mature woman (Christie/Rachel) spectrum, especially considering it’ll just be 1 new girl. Mature girls don’t sell in Japan and another young girl will get a side eye from the west

While I think your prediction is likely right about the female fighter’s age range, I am hoping she is somewhere around Helena/Tina/Lisa status. This would be the right time to do that character. If it she an older character who is apart of the initial launch, she wouldn’t be a risk when trying to make her dlc. That being said, if they decide to make the DOAXVV ladies into dlc characters, then we will have plenty of the younger college ladies (Leifang/Hitomi/Mila).
I am hoping the male character is around the younger cast age though (Marie Rose/Honoka/Eliot). It will help make the male cast a bit more diverse since most of the men seem to be late 20s/early 30s looking.

That would actually be pretty cool. This also would go against the stream of games putting mostly only female Kpop characters in games and of DOA sexualizing mostly just female characters.
The new male character is probably Donovan though, isn't he? It's time he shows up and is playable. He would of course be a boss and had to be unlocked first by beating the story. Would that count as a new character or has a new character to be available right from the start?

I like to think out of the box. Fighters from lessor known countries are rare. Sure I wouldn't mind a Korean fighter in DOA.
But a fighter from countries like Ethiopia, Uganda, Somalia, Sudan, or Malawi. Thats unheard of.
