If you got to choose between Michelle chang or Julia chang who would you pick to be added to T7?
The ultimate question of my life!

I rather prefer Michelle because she's not only the original but she needs to be out of retirement. Plus she's consider MILF, especially how VERY good her genes that she looks like in her 20s instead her actual early 40s. Though they will pick Julia hopefully they combined her moveset with her Jaycee's. That will be very interesting.

They should keep Julia and Jaycee and bring Michelle back. TTT2 ruined Michelle for me and just made her another basic bitch and not to mention they changed her skin tone :(

Michelle didn't even seem like the badass woman she was in Tekken 2 anymore and she was just another cute fanservice character in away.

Out of all legacy characters, you could say that Julia has the highest chance of coming back. Her playerbase (in TTT2 Arcade or console if I remember correctly?) was higher than Lei's (even though many people on the internet still ask for him, only a few are actual Lei players/loyalists). Her fighting style is also original, which is a plus for Tekken 7 since that's what Harada is looking for. As for Anna, I don't know exactly how big her actual TTT2 playerbase is, but I'm guessing it's also bigger than Lei's. Anna is story relevant to a degree (due to her working w/ Kazuya in Tekken 6 to spite her sister Nina). Even though Lei's style is original, very few people actually play him because many scrubs say "He's too difficult to use."

I don't know about being the best. The nerfed movement was a turn off for me, plus the online netcode...I'd rather not go there l0l
The customization was good (and unique, unlike TTT2 and it's generic ass items). There was also plenty of offline content to keep folks satisfied (unlike Tekken 7).

I remember once upon a time in the earlier days of TTT2 where Speedkicks once said on his own stream that Tekken 6 was a "Brawly" game. Hence the sluggish movement.

Tekken 5 DR was the best for me since it had Lili in it and they remade Anna into a better character and it was the darkest in the series besides Tekken 4 but that game was terrible gameplay wise xD

About that, I think Namco back in the day had a hard time updating Michelle in regarding skin tone since she's biracial (Chinese and Native American). Notice the history, in 1, Michelle has the same skin tone (at one point she has green eyes) but when in 2 and Tag 1, her renders were looking like she has some melanin due to her living in Arizona but in-game, she has her Tekken 1 skin tone. Hell, at one point, the picture of her with Nina and Jun in swimsuits, she looks like she was African-American at one point, and I don't even think it was because of a suntan.

Tekken does alot of strange revisions like that for some reason xD like Anna had short hair with sidelocks in T5 but in T6 onwards they gave her a classic bob cut, and Lili used to have platinum blonde hair but in TTT2 onwards they made it honey blonde and only platinum in darker stage lighting >.>

I'm not sure if Lei will ever be back. His style is extremely original and full of amazing stances but due to its complexity nobody really uses him. Plus he is kinda old and not particularly hot... Who knows. The team surely seemed to like him enough since he always popped up before 7.

Also Lei > Brad unironically.

Lei is that character for someone reason a lot of people want back but the percentage of people that actually played him was really low... It's ironic.

I want Anna and Julia back, but i'm happy with Lili and Eddy.

Even though I don't play him that much, Lei is extremely important part of the series. He's the representation of Jackie Chan and had been around since his debut in 2. Another thing why this game pissed me off is there isn't ANY reps from Tekken 2, my favorite out of all of the franchise. Don't say what about Asuka because even though she has Jun's fighting style, she debuted in 5. I'm already thrown off the roof since Harada and the team ignored the Changs and their style been around since freaking DAY 1.

I don't care for any of the characters missing tbh besides Anna imo, I don't see how she's not in since although she's not as popular as her sister Nina Bitchiams is, she's still popular and was used alot in TTT2. She's also not hard to even implement, she's basically a much easier and less extra version of Nina Williams xD

Anna was used more than Nina in Tag 2.
Julia was used more than Law and Paul.
Armor King was used more than all of the above.
Marduk was used more than Jack.

Harada's character usage argument is redundant. They wanted to *try* (miserably) and make this installment more story orientated, only including characters that link with the Mishima bloodline in someway or another, and the roster became shit in the process xD

Oh she was??? :-O well I'm not surprised actually, Anna is wayyyyy easier to use than Nina and she doesn't have to work hard for her damage, plus she's literally a tits and ass slut which many people like me like xD But that's BS on Namco part tho, Anna is just as important as Nina is, I mean they're both hired assasins for MZ and G Corp. Plus Lili doesnt even have a story anymore, her story mode was a joke and such a waste of time:(

I do hope Asuka would have a somewhat important role later on. There was some story potential in her ending in 5, but after that it's her and Lillie's rivalry. Like I find it off putting in T6 she found out about Jin being related and plans going after him. When beating her arcade mode I expected some interaction with her and Jin. But nope, it's her and Lillie hijinks.

I think they might have something in store for Lillie with the involvement of Eliza.
