I heard Setsuka will probably be DLC later on which kinda sucks since I would like to play as her day 1. It's been too long since she's disappeared from the stage of history. There's also word that Groh may be her replacement since he has a similar stance to her/Apat. I really hope that's not the case.

I think Amy will be DLC as well which kinda disappoints me but it does make sense to make the more popular characters DLC since people will come in droves to buy them xD

I'm still waiting for Seung Mina... willing to bet she'll be DLC because everyone were whining about Talim and she got in by default since she didn't appear in 5 and Lost Swords (?) along with Zasalmel. I'm be pissed off that we lost a few characters from original Soul Calibur as default cast to be saved up for DLC when they announced that the game is supposed to go back towards end of Soul Edge but then all of the sudden it goes forward past Soul Calibur 2... they should've said that in the beginning when they announced the damn game.

Apparently from the CEO and E3 build attacks are more linear now so it should be easier to sidestep vertical moves. In the meantime i'm over at 8wayrun trying to understand the meta so I won't be button mashing when the game drops lol. I've understood the meta for DOA and Tekken for awhile but never soul calibur; the guys at 8wayrun cleared it up for me.

I Guard Impact quite a lot, even though the opponent isn't gonna do anything. I just do it out of anticipation instead of reaction.

I heard the Guard Impact in Soul Calibur VI is similar to Soul Calibur V, the only difference is that it won't rely on meter and it's 6G instead of 4A+B+K. Yep, only one type of Guard Impact instead of 2 types like in Soul Calibur II or 4 types like in Soul Calibur I, III, and IV (if Just Impact counts, I guess that's 5 types).

6G repels all hit levels (highs, mids, and lows). All you need to do is catch your opponent's timing instead of reacting/anticipating on what move is the opponent gonna do, whether it's a high or a mid or a low. That's how Guard Impact was in Soul Calibur V and that's going to be the same in Soul Calibur VI. Aaaaand I also heard that it has a lot less frame advantage.

Yeah his pelvic thrust always makes me laugh xD that and him fighting Ivy is amusing since they literally go hand in hand theme wise with her being a Dominatrix and him being a standard gimp xD
