Characters More Characters on the Way

Team Ninja has CONFIRMED on their Twitter that more characters are definitely in the works. A big portion of the community has recommended that Team NINJA should add Tengu, and perhaps he is in the works thanks to all the Project Revival studs out there.

However, Tengu is still not confirmed so we can expect a handful of different characters such as: Yaiba, Raidou, Genra, Miss Monday (please no) or Irene. Who are you representing?

I seriously doubt we'd get Miss Monday.

Yaiba is possible, though honestly not too likely, in my eyes.

 

I want tengu to be in the game for the same way I want marijuana to be legal, so I don't have to listen to people whine about it.

 

I want BRAND NEW characters. No more kasumi clones. I particularly don't give a single fuck about tengu and the others (genra, raidou, irene, miss monday, etc).

 

When Tengu is announced I'm either going to record myself dancing smoking a blunt or singing a song in his name. The blunt happens either way.

The question we should be asking is does DOA need anymore characters? DOA5UA's roster is now up to 31 characters. That's a pretty full house if you ask me. Though I'll be too busy tossing around loli's next week to really worry about any new characters.

 

Needs Tengu. Beyond that, I can't say it "needs" anyone else, though I would welcome a capoeria fighter.

 

Lol, the capoeira fighters are already trollish in Tekken. We'll have to settle for Lisa instead. If a new character was to be added, would be nice if we had a Judo/Jiu-Jitsu grappler.

Actually, I'm thinking that it's going to be more VF characters.

Watch, out of the remaining three, two of them are VF. And the last one be Yaiba. I can just imagine all the rage for excluding Tengu.

 

how about completely new characters. after all, this is a completely new and revamped DOA. it just wouldn't do to keep recycling characters. look to the future and all that. if 2 out of the 3 characters are completely new i'll be happy.

edit: watch if Tengu comes out and nobody plays him like in DOA4

Tengu of course, does not need to be said. I personally want Genra too, but Tengu is more important.

I doubt there will be another retail disc. They might eventually release a "Collector's Edition" somewhere down the line that has every DLC content released in it, but I think that'll be a long ways away.

Complete edition for PS4 will be great.

Still waiting for the Filipino Boxer or the Israeli Krav Maga fighter.

 

New serious black fighter would be cool. Also maybe a Judo fighter. But a new non ninja male character would be cool in general.

Don't give two shakes about Tengu but there's clearly some demand for him so why not bring him back I guess, takes precedence over clone or guest characters for sure.
