Introduction
As we all know, there are different types of stuns in DOA which have the possibility guarantee certain follow-ups. Examples include: Limbo stuns, faint stuns, crumple stuns and sitdown stuns. This thread is about a very specific stun in DOA: The 'slip stun'. It only occurs if three conditions are satisfied:

1) The surface on which the opponent stands must be slippery, such as water or ice.
2) To cause a slip stun, you need to hit the opponent with a low strike.
3) Finally, the attack must land as a counter hit or hi-counter hit.

How does a slip stun look like?

@Corza also provided a gif showing the slip stun. This kind of slip stun can only be used as a stun opener. This specific kind of animation guarantees any mid or low follow-up 100% of the time.

@Corza also posted two gifs showing an alternative animation of the slip stun. These stuns also count as slip stuns and are called 'trip stuns'. They can be used as a stun opener, as well as a stun extender. It can be used on any surface, but nets you more advantage on hit in water or on ice. Thus, a trip stun guarantees follow-ups on slippery surfaces, but not on any other type of surface. With regard to this thread, it will only concern trip stuns performed in water or on ice. This specific kind of animation can guarantee some high, mid or low follow-ups, but other high, mid or low-follow ups can be stagger escaped or held.

Note: The quality of this thread is mainly dependent on your or others' feedback! I am not proficient with every character and thus cannot provide a full list. Feel free to share any setups you have in mind. Please also share if you know a particular character doesn't have guaranteed follow-ups after a slip stun or trip stun so I can mark their names in red (see color coding).

There are a lot of characters who have at least one low strike in their arsenal which cause a slip stun and guarantee certain follow-ups. To make things easier, the character's names all received a color code. The meaning of each character's color code is as follows:

Green: Character has one or more setups which have all been confirmed to work. Note: A character's name in green doesn't necessarily mean the character's setups list is complete, but just shows the confirmed setups found so far.
Orange: Unknown if the character has any slip stun setups, or has one or more set-ups which aren't confirmed or complete.
Red: The character may or may not have a slip stun/trip stun, but doesn't have guaranteed follow-ups.

Click the spoiler tag for the character whose setup(s) you would like to see. The slip stun itself is marked in blue. All combos are guaranteed when the slip stun hits, unless specified otherwise. This is the list so far:

1K > 3K > pretty much whatever he wants (pretty much any SDS followup he has from 3K, ones listed below are his best followups)
46P (escapable on fastest SE but unholdable, advantage if blocked) - 66 Damage or 41 Damage and +2.
214P > Air Throw (dash in required for long distance 214P or buffer in a dash before the 3K) - 101 damage

1K > 33P > 3K > 46P (see above but more advantage if blocked) - 83 or 58 damage and +5, SEable on Fast. More used for advantage or fishing for a Counter Strike

1K > 214P > Air throw - 85 damage



My favorite is
1K > 2K> 3K> P+K for a CB (CB guaranteed if 3K hits, just so people know) - 63 +CB

Also, slip stun strikes are used as an opener, they can't be used in stun to get the stun, they turn into normal strike stuns.

New:

1K > 7P also goes into his 1 guess options

EDIT: Since you are a dedicated Momiji player, do you know any low strikes she has which give a slip stun with guaranteed follow-ups? If not, I will mark her name red since I can't seem to come up with any setups

I will come up with something tomorrow after rewatching his stream. :)

I would like to, but that's a lot of work heh heh. My primary goal is to make this thread as complete as possible. Afterwards I can consider editing in damage and advantage. Unless people tell me the damage and advantage on the spot of course, then I don't have to do research myself.

I'm using FSD Dark and the black text used in the spoilers has to be highlighted in order to read it because I'm guessing that you change the text to black after making the Slip Stun Blue. Default text for Light is black and white for Dark. Probably best to write out the combos first then modify the Slip Stuns to be blue.

A slip stun is best described as a stun in which the affected character's feet are knocked out from underneath them and the fall forward and look as though they are attempting to push themselves up into a standing position with their hands and are consdiered to be crouching during that time. Opponents are unable to SE out of it or hold out of it.
Trip stuns can be held out of. The 1K>2K>3K I mentioned for Leon can he held after the 2K because it is a trip stun.

After messing around P4 doesn't have one.

I'm using the dark layout and everything is perfectly visible. Anyways, I went into the lab (or more like Zack Island) with my shrine maiden and here's the result: Both 2K (+33) and 2H+K or BT 2K (+32) will let you do an unholdable 8P or 8K. I used fastest SE, fastest critical hold, etc.

Here's a setup idea:
2H+K, 8K, 6PKKP - 88 damage

I could probably come up with like 5 other setups, but those would be weight class specific, so I guess this one should be fine.

Sorry I should have been more clear but a slip stun has a special animation. Hence why I included it as a section after the Introduction. :) The problem is that I don't have a picture/video yet to show it in.
