Going by the looks of that combo, Burst Tag suggests that when you tag your partner out while the opponent is in threshold with that particular input, the tagged partner's Critical Burst comes out automatically, as opposed to raw tagging and doing the character-specific input. This would potentially guarantee CBs in situations that would otherwise be slow-escapable in single-player mode.

It might of been shown already with the Gamespot clip with rachael/momiji gameplay... kinda....

Rachael does: 7K,4ppp, Burst tag attack (done by momiji) (her default CB?)
Momiji then does 33kk, (while floating)k
tag in Rachael: Air grab, 6pkp

Skipping an input i guess,
Pretty cool, i like it

Hey can anyone link me to HD screens¿

Nothing official was released. The website hasn't been updated yet. :/
I want HD screenshot of Helena's new costume, and the name of Rachel's fighting style.
We'll have to wait because apparently, E3 isn't over for Team Ninja!

So.. just... how many hours till the stream starts ? I'm a bit lost.

Combos can be pretty long in DOA5 tag tho...

They need to add "interrupt burst" gameplay when health meter reaches 50%
or something
TTT2 had something similar called tag crush for stopping long juggles, Limited usage of course

Not to be mean or anything but after giving it some thought, I think we're good with the 29 characters we have. It's already clear that Team NINJA does listen to what the fans want. It's just that there are more people asking for costumes, characters and stages than frame advantage, unholdable stuns and reduced thresholds. But in the three months we have, we should be asking for general and character-specific gameplay changes. This strongest army in the world thing worked for Leon and now Cow wants to move people for Tengu. In all honesty I think it's more important for the gameplay changes to happen instead of the return of a character that only five or so people here on FSD will use.

I'm seriously not trying to antagonize Forlorn or any of Tengu's fans because I actually understand how worried and pissed you must be about the loss of your main, but we have to understand that DOA5's issues go beyond the presence of a character nobody uses anyway. Fixing DOA5's gameplay is much easier than we realize. It's just a matter of changing frame data and reducing the ridiculous stun threshold and Team NINJA should focus on that.

We got the costumes, we got new stages, Ein and Leon are back, Rachel and Momiji are more than welcome, just like Jacky and we'll all remember Tengu for how cool he was (if he's not in already). But now is the time to carpet bombs Facebook and Twitter asking for 3.1's stun system, frame advantage on block, better sidesteps, better ground game and things like that.

29 characters is enough. The 29 that we actually get? No.

-_-

We got the costumes,
All these costumes don't mean shit to me until I get Ryu's throwback costume. It's heavily requested and they still aren't listening. Tickin' me off.

we got new stages
The ship and the desert? Both boring stages simply imported from RE? Yeah, no. Not getting out that easy. They need to actually make some more stages. New ones would be nice, but re-making old ones would also be cool. It's a full new release. A few chars, stages and balancing things don't warrant that.

Rachel and Momiji are more than welcome, just like Jacky
Meh. Rachel's a copy-pasta of a lame character and Momiji honestly looks stiff and fairly boring. I was hoping for a lot more from her.

If anything, they're fucking up gameplay even worse. Ryu's 3H+K and 4PK-type attacks unsafe now (let alone not being guard breaks anymore)? I mean what-the-fuck TN? It's like they think Ryu should be all gimmicks and posses literally the shittiest strings in the game. Yeah, I pissed.

As much as I'd want to be on board with this, and I really really want to, I'm leaning towards wanting more content since game patches can be put into the game over time as more and more community feedback is given to DoA5U. I'm interested in seeing TN try to please as many people as possible who've been aching for more characters and content. I can agree that the game has its flaws and they really need to be addressed, but TN clearly has more time to do just that than adding more content to amp up replay value.

I'm not fond of Tengu as a character, but it's a shame his moveset isn't used some way in DOA5U. I know this is not a consolation for Tengu's fans, but I wish they gave its moveset to Rachel (or at least some moves) to make her even more unique. Maybe Donovan could have it (with Genra's, Raidou's and Alpha's. I mean, he has Genra's mask and Lisa is a scientist and Alpha will be dead in DOA6 too).

The thing is, that I think you're right. I don't want extra characters TN won't even care about bringing back in DOA6. That's the problem. More and more characters TN doesn't care about. I, am ready to move on. But I'll support those who still miss his gameplay, because that's sad that even DOA5U who is supposed to be a super "compilation" doesn't have Tengu-do in it.

I know, that's paradoxical. :/

Well look on the bright side, at least he has a decent low again.

It's pretty easy to adjust frame advantage/disadvantage. If you don't want to reanimate a character's recovery frames, just adjust the guard stun. Don't even get me started on move properties.

It's really not that hard, TN.
