Their focus (at least in the West) with selling people on the game really seems to be Core Fighters, which doesn't even have a cover.

I doubt Team Ninja even gives a fuck what the box art looks like.

That doesn't really matter the point is there is a panty shot , this will be sold in shops with families it would look bad if they sold a game with a panty shot on the cover so the cover will likely change not just because of the panty shot but because of bad feedback in the west.

It may only just be a cover up but I'd like to think it's completely different after all the Eu version DoA1 had Jann Lee and Tina compared to USA's DoA1 which had Leifang, Tina and Kasumi(with white hair).

Also; something that was apparently added but never seen anything of again was colour customisation of the health bar. Is that still a thing? we haven't seen or heard anything about it since then. I hope it hasn't been scrapped the yellow/gold health bars are a bit... uh... off putting.

Random aside. I was talking to a friend and we somehow got onto the topic of the styles of the 90's (I know...don't ask) and since we were little kids (I honestly remember just the overalls) I google imaged 90's fashion to see what else was cool back then. This was the 3rd result

As for the news this time, I'm not getting my hopes up. I'm predicting it will be 1 of 3 things (hoping it will be something better though):
1) the US preorder bonuses (not that it isn't good but doesn't need "announced" like UK).
2) a trailer with the girls in the bonus and/or sexy swimsuits
3) a video showcasing the "exciting" feature to change the color of your life bar.

with last weeks new "assets" being info on unimportant crap like team battle and item drops in survival mode Im keeping my expectations at rock bottom. TN promotion of this game is abysmal compared to vanilla 5. back then by now we had an early demo, tons of gameplay impressions from the insiders, pre-release tournaments featuring some of the high level DOA players, the IPL promotion that gave us indepth looks at characters and the combo test vids showing off juggle potential for the entire cast while still having a bunch of character/stage reveals left.

They are just phoning it in for 5U it seems
