So you're saying that rather than add a character who has his own unique moveset and who was in DOA2, DOAU, DOA4, and DOAD and has a decent sized fan base...
You instead want to add a character that you saw in the game for maybe less than 5 seconds and give her Kokoro and Akira's moveset?

I think he's saying that he could fathom them doing it, not that he would like it if they did.

Don't get me wrong, any new or extra character is a good thing. But it really needs to be Tengu this time. Let's hold off on Miyako, or Raidou, or Omega, or Lion Rafale, or Evil Ayane or dark Alpha for now. Just give us the geta-clad, cure-conked wizard with the Rob Zombie already. If they want to add more characters later on as DLC then great, so be it, but it's Tengu's time now, let Tengu have the spotlight this time & stop torturing the fans that have supported him for so long. They might as well dangle a doughnut in front of a group of starving deprived people from behind a sealed glass door. That's what it must feel like to Tengu fans that have suffered throughout the whole "will he be in it, wont he be in it" DoA5/DoA5U teasing cycle.
If it isn't Tengu this time, then i fear that he may be gone from this series forever. & i simply refuse to want to believe that. If he is in this time then I'm going to highlight the big man's mug in the character select screen & have a angry session with him out of sheer spite of him being ignored for as long as he has. I'm going to ruin the happy days of the VF guest characters by ramming a geta in their ribs, taking them to heaven & slamming back down to Earth on their heads & alter the weather from a sunny happy day to a gloomy rainy day as Tengu spits out his victory quote "KO WAH PA!!" as a reminder that the beast is back & here to stay. Please do not trample the Tengu fan's dreams again.
The Tengu legacy must live on!

This is probably most likely right, however, Kasumi with sword could be possible as well ) the clone who sliced Bayman in the face is also possible, but I definitely hope it will not be her lol. Ryo is still possible thanks to Hayashi, but like you said I would rather have someone completely new. It just felt like I got robbed with only two brand new characters lol
Not remotely as robbed as I felt by having my character taken away.
I like both of them a lot. 2U's were probably a tad better, but there were some really cool new sounds in 4. Plus, he didn't laugh in 2U.
He needs to laugh.

While it's certainly nice to get them, you don't really need new characters if the ones you already play return. I lost the one I played. Getting new ones won't fix that.

Im not saying I want her but think the team its capable of instead of giving us a new character give us something no one asked for as sometimes people can be cheap. Hopefully the do a new character from the ground up.

It's pretty selfish if you think you are more disappointed than any else, I'm just as disappointed as you, you simply have NO idea. I do like Tengu, but not as much as you, but for me a brand NEW character would fix a lot of things.
All that is saying is that you don't like ANY of the characters so far. And we've had 4 new characters Mila,Rig,Momiji, and maybe Rachel depending on whether or not you believe she's a Nicole clone.

I character who is a clone of Nicole and Another "Ninja" is not what I call new characters, but its just My opinion. And to be honest don't make much sense add a new character since the new character will not take role of the story. Momiji and Rachel for example.
