It's garbage because:

1) still didn't fix that lame glitch where the match would randomly start choking up, lag out, and say it's corrupted. I think this is due to their poor input recording of the entire match, if one move goes wrong the entire process corrupts and fails

2) ONLY 360p?? WTF. Why not at LEAST 720p??

3) Can't move camera around

4) Umm, why do they disable your opponents name? Is that really necessary? I wanna know the names of the people who I am fucking shit up!!

I can't believe people still expect their consoles to be able to process video at 720p despite the fact that current gen consoles do not have the necessary horsepower to do so. The average setup for processing video has a mid-high range processor and at least 4 to 8 Gigabytes of RAM - something your console does not.

Oh, you know exactly why. Someone else is involved in the video but the game only has your OK to upload the video. Therefore, someone may not want footage of them sucking following them around for all eternity.

I wouldn't. I'd take the defeat in stride, but I wouldn't want people to devalue my effort when they haven't even played me themselves.

SFIV replays aren't uploaded to YouTube unless you use unofficial methods (i.e. capture card).

You get to upload something for free. How can you complain?

I had to dish out cash to get my capture card to record 1080p and the rig to handle it and then software on top for decent quality screen cap (HDMI doesn't support straight capture due to protection).

This is like asking why spending £200 on a shitty dell won't let you run Skyrim on Ultra. Be happy you can do it all.

More so a reason to hide it when you're not pro. It is about consent. You and I may not be fussed about our persona's being placed on YouTube but some might be. I always ask for consent from those whose games I record.

The internet is a volatile place and if people don't want their PSN/XBL spreading alongside their performance they shouldn't have to.

The quality of the Xbox 360 videos is the same as the PS3 videos, as far as I can tell. Both are in 360p.

And while Xbox only allows you to share to Facebook, it is possible to then download the video from Facebook and upload it to YouTube.
