YES! so much win in this statement ahahahaha. I despise tag in every other game as well. It's why I hated TTT2. Thankfully there was a solo option though, but people would rage at me for only using 1 character, and not doing tag in a game specifically made for tag... but I don't care.
I would only like tag if they lowered the cap on combos. Fricking infinites... And why, WHY do some moves relaunch that aren't supposed to? They could have just made tag on DOA5U just like 1 player versus, with the ability to change characters.

And about TTT2. That game, is just.... Damage. I love playing solo Eddy or solo Miguel and trolling people with them, because barely anyone is good anymore.

I thought Lisa was supposed to be a gift to America's great melting pot ? Like she could be anything and just exotic.

I personally think of her as an Afro-American with a South American heritage, but that's just me. The problem isn't her origins, it's the lack of La Mariposa in DOA5 in my opinion.

I always thought she was Brazillian. Skin tone, fighting style (Capoeira-like), so I don't know anymore.

Maaaaaaan, I have to do this every couple of months? I'mma just copypasta it.

Currently, the Brazilian census has 5 different racial categories. One of them being "black". Another one being "brown" but that seems to be for all intents and purposes, "black" based on colloquial grouping (from what I'm reading. I don't live in Brazil). So, to say someone is "Brazilian" is as helpful in a race conversation as saying someone is "American".

And based on the American usage of the term "Black"...
The US racial or ethnic classification "black" refers to people with all possible kinds of skin pigmentation, from the darkest through to the very lightest skin colors, including albinos, if they are believed by others to have African ancestry (in any discernible percentage), or to exhibit cultural traits associated with being "African American." As a result, in the United States the term "black people" is not an indicator of skin color but of socially based racial classification.
...Lisa is black. She is. There's no getting around it. Just accept it. Somebody can try to say "But, Hispanic and Lucha Libre and Spanish names and..." Doesn't matter. Being Hispanic doesn't stop you from being black. Lisa's black. Even if she was made slightly lighter (though I would say just less cartoonish looking) than in DOA4. And you know why? Because racial classification was BS from its inception. Completely. It's all just based upon how you kind of look compared to other people. Same with Halle Berry. Same with Beyoncé Knowles. Same with Barack Obama. The list goes on. No one really cares about your actual ethnic makeup when they're referring to your "race". Which is sad, but like I said, it's all BS.

Thank you. Good night, everybody...

I honestly have no idea what TN was thinking with Lisa. She makes absolutely 0 fucking sense.

Not complaining, just sayin'...
Even then, she's still the most developed of the DOA girls. I like the fact that she ties to so many of the characters in the game, despite being introduced in DOAX/4. I thought she was Black, because her nationality is American. However, her fighting style is Luchadora mixed with Capoeira kicks, which makes me think she has some type of Hispanic or Brazilian in her. But Team Ninja better not kill her off for DOA6!

I think Marie Rose will also tie in with at least several characters also. It would make the most sense if her mother was a mistress of fame Douglas also (explaining why she's also a maid). Now she pretends to be innocent but secretly wants to take over DOATEC after eliminating her older half-sisters Helena and Kokoro first.

But Team Ninja better not kill her off for DOA6!

Lol guys don't worry she's not dead!!!

I would love for Marie Rose to have some antagonist twist about her. With Rig, I saw it coming that he was evil, but with Marie Rose, you can't be too sure.

Rig was confusing as hell in the story to me. When I played it I assumed at the end Rig had been a sleeper agent all this time and Donovan said his secret phrase or something. Maybe it was me just half paying attention when playing through the story but he went from 'idk lol' to 'I AM AN EVIL ANTAGONIST CHARACTER' very suddenly.

Dead or Alive 5's entire plot was confusing.

lol @ making two Marie Rose pins that are the same outfit

I love how shameless they are about giving her two costumes and a Santa dress. Props for effort.
