Me too. But the excuse "people online" is selfish. I just want to enjoy my Korean babe with different styles, as part of the 13 other babes, create new relationships and stuff.
On one hand I LOVE character creation in fighting games...no, in games in general, because it's incredibly fun and inspirational to create your own original characters... On the other hand I really HATE, if you are able to alter the existing characters of a game so much, you can't even recognize them anymore or when they just look absolutely silly. So I would opt for a character creation, that lets you only create your own fighter, not alter the existing cast of characters. No Ayane with green skin and no Mila with blue hair. Sorry Argentus...

Late to the party but to add to all of this, Itagaki never was a particularly skilled player.
I met him in DoA4, he was using Kasumi.
He was good sure, but nothing special.
It's pretty common with game developers and their games. Very often they're not the "best player" at the games they design.
I sympathize for the customizers but I should not be forced to see your shitty creations, I don't care how proud you are of it I'm not your mom I don't care. Give me the option to ignore your "creative genius" and we'll talk.

Eh, I'm fine with the minor customizations we have. Just introduce more 'small' changes and it'll be perfect. Like more stuff for the people with none. Take jackets off with costumes containing them. Small stuff like that. Nothing beyond minor changes though. Just because other fighters have full blown customization, doesn't mean DOA should... imo anyway.

off topic: How you can display your ID Name and from your opponents the ID If you are gonna to upload your replay to youtube ?

You can't. The in-game uploader removes your opponent's ID automatically (I assume to avoid butthurt). As for your ID, it'll give you the option to enable/disable after you select 'Upload to YouTube'.
On the topic of customization, I wouldn't mind small customization options (hats, ribbons, glasses in variety, etc), but all done with the base costumes, with the option to swap you own colors. That way, when you go online, it's quite easy to implement a 'no customs' option.

On a side note, from the "Dead or alive game" facebook pages latest post... looks like the apparent "Christmas gift" may very well be 1 Kasumi costume. And a not so great one at that. That weird Ragnarok odyssey ace one. I'm unsure as to why this costume has such high demand, but paint me disappointed IF this is in-fact the gift we will be receiving from TN. Was hoping for casual costume pack 3~ xD

It was impossible a new DLC pack after that TN said no more DLC for this year, and I was suspecting the Ragnarok Outfit because TN put a like on one of my comments where I said that I would have liked a similar surprise XD
Actually I would be glad if this costume will come to XBOX (anyway TN already confirmed it on twitter some time ago), but not because I can't live with an exclusive outfit for PS3, just because the outfit seem to me really nice.
However I was also thinking that this outfit would be in the end a Christmas gift only for the Xbox players, considering that the owner of PS3 (also European and American ones) where able to take this outfit.
So there is a chance that this couldn't be the only surprise: maybe this post on the Team Ninja FB page emphasizing Momiji wearing her "(Indigo) Happi costume" could be an hint for a free release of this outfit too? (well actually they were emphasizing also the Tengu that she fought...)

However make little sense to make this mention out of place... I know that they stated that will begin to celebrate the 25th birthday of Ninja Gaiden, but they should post this kind of things also on the NG FB page (where this post wasn't shared).
We will see if there is something behind, I'm only sure that would appear strange to release like Xmas gift uniquely an outfit that half of the players (in addition the part on on the "priviliged" console XD) already has.

I'm fine with character customization the way it's done in vf, a set of items for each character that fits. So no making giant rainbow hula hoop monstrosities. I personally really like the creation in SC, but there's just some things you don't do.

That's what I hate about Tekken's Character customisation. You can make the most serious characters into the most rediculous thing ever. I can't tell you how many Jacks I have seen in Ghost mode an stuff with Tutus or bright pink hair etc. I kinda hope if they do implamnent it they should only use character relevent stuff or atleast "normal" stuff for the customisation so we don't have Ein in gimp gear or Hayabusa in all pinks with a bright purple ponytail etc. ¬_¬On one hand I LOVE character creation in fighting games...no, in games in general, because it's incredibly fun and inspirational to create your own original characters...
