I like to think the answer is "yes" to both of those questions, but I have always been a little bitter that the 360 never got Core Fighters.
See, Core Fighters is both a blessing and a curse. It's a blessing because it's pretty much the full game sans Story Mode and majority of the cast is locked, so you pretty much get the full game with a missing feature and limited access to the cast. However, at the same time, a lot of the talent on PSN is sparse and even going to lobbies doesn't help these days. But I'm not saying that F2P = bad players, it's just there are a lot more of them who aren't willing to learn the game because, let's be honest, it's free and they can delete it anytime they want. I guess it depends on how you look at it, because CF was enough to tide me over until I got the full version of the game. CF is so limiting.

KwonJigglypuff, some of your costume ideas are ridiculously impressive. Why the petite beauty of Helena hasn't been donned in a dainty ballet garb yet is simply beyond me. If more costumes are planned, a ballet attire for her can't be far off, surely.

I colored it myself.
Anthony prefered it white though.
As much as I like my colors, Anthony's version is way more convincing.

Please develop.

Alright, here we go!
Hitomi; Hitomi looks more like a monkey to me. Her face just reminds me of a monkey.
Ayane; I have no idea what Tanuki even means.
Kasumi; Why is she a rabbit? Because she keeps running away? Alright, I'll give you that.
Bayman; Bayman should be something bigger than a wolf. "Giant fucking wolf" would've been a lot catchier.
Kokoro; I have no idea.
Brad; I don't really know, he's just drunk.

There's actually been some hints already though lol.
Hitomi: Bear
Leifang: Panda
Kokoro: Puppy
Brad (DOA4 Theme Drunk Wolf) just sayin'

@Pictured Mind Tanuki/AKA Tanooki they're like racoon things famously a mario power up in Mario 3.
Kasumi is a rabbit because her boobs have no bra so they bounce around all the time xD lol

in the middle of angel beats discussion, this is a random post lol. Seems like it was supposed to be in response to something? I posted something similar in wanted costumes...

...i'd rather have rig as a rat.

but how are you getting wolf from bayman? I'd go with crab or something like that.

Mila....I still think she should be a cross between a bee and a lion. not like the Wuzzles or anything, but more an insectoid lion.

Most of these do not make sense.

Geez...maybe to you. But they perfectly make sense from a Japanese point of view. Animals such as the rabbit, tanuki (racoon), mouse/rat and so on have a special and often very different symbolic meaning than they have in western culture.
Kasumi being a rabbit and Ayane being the tanuki for example points to the rivalry/vendetta these two animals have according to Japanese legends. One of the most famous tales is "Kachi kachi Yama", which...oh well, if you are interested to broaden your horizon, just google it. >__>

Yeah, Bayman should be a polar bear and Brad a wolf. Hitomi either a tiger (DOA5's story mode) or a teddy bear (DOA4/DOA5U, friendship with the panda).
Even if Bass's "bear hug" made sense, he should be.. a giant bull or something.

Actually, there is another claimant for the bear spirit animal apart from Hitomi (symbol in C6) and Bass (bear hugs). We all know who this shorts belong to (which I initially thought the symbol was a lion or a bulldog).

And Hayate has an owl on his shorts. The fox (vixen) symbol should be for Rachel if anything.

Anyone read my post? Google what those animals stand for in Japanese folklore and you know, why they chose, what they chose...

I thought of cardinals or ladybug when I think of Momiji lol (red is evident in a lot of her costumes) but yeah the fire fox thing works. She can also be a deer.

DOA5 Eliot is NOT a mouse. He has way more confidence in his abilities and his hits in gameplay do some serious damage.

Sorry, are you kinda dumb? You should read up what the mouse/rat stands for in Japan/Asia, not what it means in western culture. It's the third time I stress that.
Mice are typically sensitive and smart, they are curious, strong willed and are known to make good use of opportunities given to them. they love challenges.

I didn't "insult your intelligence", because you don't know Japanese culture (many don't). I insulted your intelligence, because I already wrote three times, that you should not judge the animals by western standards, but by what they mean in Japan. You even quoted me, where I stressed that. Then you come along and judge the mouse by exactly western standards...ugh! >__<

As a Western gamer, I sometimes forget that the Japanese culture see certain things differently than my culture. Don't insult me just because I forgot that animals represent different things in Western culture than they do in Japanese culture. Either way, you were completely out of line.
