Characters Marie Rose, Phase 4 and 1.05

After all of the intense matches from SCR this weekend, it's only fitting that we are followed up with huge news pertaining to our game and community. Marie Rose is coming to consoles 3/25 on Playstation 3 and the 26th on Xbox 360. A 1.05 update is also planned, but little details are available for that.

Marie Rose Announcement for PS3 & 360

Update 3/04: Marie Rose will be paid DLC. Her retail price is 5.99 USD. It should also be mentioned that the title update will be coupled with Lorelei.

Kasumi Alpha "Phase 4" is also planned to be released and she is only currently planned for arcades.

Nah, even if the scrubs don't complain about stuff, certain things still get nerfed anyway.

TN really loves them some nerfing.

 

At this point 1.05 and Loralei is the only thing I'm looking forward to seeing as Marie and Phase 4 I'm indifferent to.

Hopefully, 1.05 would also include Helena's Blood Ties Remix.

 

She looks like she came straight out of a Xenosaga game.. I hope they made her look like this as a teaser to what she might really look like later on.

Characters start getting nerfed simply because they exist, at least in TN land.

They are following the League of Legends code. Make them overpowered at first, so people buy them (in our case start playing them and buying costumes), then hit them with the nerf hammer as soon as the profit is made! *Evil mr. Burns finger movements*

Except that a lot of the DOA characters hit with the banhammer were never even close to overpowered.

They seem to have copied the art of releasing one and one character, and micro transactions. It will be a new trend for sure.

 

She looked good in the still images for her. Kinda interested.

BTW, I would like to include her in my arcade stick artwork but I need main still image with transparent background instead that white one... Can somebody help me with this?

 

Will phase 4 have any bikinis? I'd rather have Tengu than another alpha....

I don't think Phase 4 will have a bikini. My reasoning is that she's a clone, just like Alpha - if Alpha doesn't have a bikini, I don't see why Phase 4 should.

Moreover, I'm assuming she's wearing a hooded cloak to hide her identity from anyone while she does her mission. In the ending she easily beat the soldiers up - she hid her traces by wearing a hooded cloak. So wearing a bikini negates the ability to remain mysterious and hide any clues regarding her identity. If she did have bikinis it would seem very out of place >_<! Instead I think Phase 4 may just have colour edits just like Alpha.

Well, I'm not sure if I'm gonna buy it. She should be free for the ones who bought the full game. I do have $10 on my PSN account, but still...
She's not even priced like the rest of the characters (4 bucks). Instead, she's $6 according to some guy in DOAW.

I think she will be 5$ and her DLC with be 12$ and the "Value Pack" will be 15$
