Ah, didn't know that. Thought they were like all in their 20s. Again, I stopped watching anime awhile ago.

So many Sakuras...

The annoying brat who stalks guys with headbands twice her age.

The Cardcaptor who can make even second cousins go lesbian.

The love interest of a guy named after a famous strait in Japan.

The newbie in the Flower Division.

And now... a stage in DOA5.

Next thing you know there's a whole dad-gummed planet named Sakura.

Even in Shippuden, Sakura is only 15.
You know I respect you greatly man. I love your mk work. So...do you want me to change or something because I got some better ones on my computer. And you know...Sakura is pretty tall for a 15 year old.

Oh, I don't care about avatars. I was just discussing the point TRI Mike brought up. It doesn't offend me at all.

Lots of costumes would be nice. These next gen sequels should have at three times as many costumes as the PSone version. At the very least.

I wouldn't mind a training mode option that gives a measurement of the distance between your character and the training dummy. And a tool that showed tech frames and crush/sabaki frames. Character turns blue during low tech, green during mid crush, and yellow during high tech frames. Something like that would be useful.

Also...a multi-throw trainer with an option to see the CPU perform multi-throws at the fastest possible execution. I know there's some kind of just frame execution to the multi-throws.

I don't like going through story mode to unlock characters. Costumes sure. Characters not really.

I'd like to see Grace and Bahn make an appearance in future DOA games...or for Sega to make a sequel to Fighting Vipers. And Last Bronx while I'm making wishes.

Also when the option to record a match appears, the loser of the match shouldn't be able to do anything. In other games I've played against poor sports who don't mind recording a match when they win, but will avoid recording a match at all costs when they lose.

Story mode...eh. It's nice to have and what not, but I don't really expect much of a story from fighting games. Every once and I while I think "oh that's kind of interesting" but usually I don't give myself any expectations. They're all pretty much Enter the Dragon with a twist. As long as the endings are entertaining I usually don't care about story mode.

Speaking of story, I think it will be very noteworthy that this will be the first time Virtua Fighter characters have ever had endings. From the little footage of DOA5 we've seen, the VF crew has been given a lot more personality than they've ever had before, so it will be nice to see them not being so bland.

In terms of extras...they could throw in Star Force...or some other NES throwback.

I disagree on this: talking about me, I have more recorded matches where I lose than where I'm the winner. When I record a match I do for understanding my errors and analyze the gamplay of the adversary. The recorded matches where I'm the winner are only these really close, with the outcome indefinite until the end and so the most funny (at least for me). I understand that not everyone thinks like me, but why penalyze who want improve their skill?

And then personally I think that anyone should be able record what match they want: if some people don't want save the matches where they lost, I can't find what is the problem...

Regarding the record match option... in VS mode both players should have to select an option to advance the screen (like in Capcom games). That way if one wants to record the match, they still have the option after the other player has pressed a button. Online it shouldn't matter since both players should have individual screens, but there should definitely be a time limit.

It would be nice if the game would just cache your last several games and then you can pick and choose which ones you want after the fact.

Soul Calibur 5 does this during online play, but it's limited to only your last 8 matches. This isn't enough because you have to exit out of the lobby to save the matches to your hard drive. In most cases I'll play 20 or more matches in an online session, and I don't want to have to exit out of the lobby every time I have a good match that I want saved.

I understand exactly where you're coming from. I think Dr. Dogg summed it up correctly. The main concern isn't really punishing the loser of the match, but making sure the option to record readily is available regardless of what the opposite player wants. I've never seen a person win a match and be unwilling to let the loser record it. However I've seen plenty of matches where the loser went out of their way to make sure the match wasn't recorded. Even if I'm not the one playing that kind of thing irritates me.
