either way don't know where this "bandwagoning" bs is coming from, at least as far as Leon goes everyone who wanted him back are either maining him or subbing him. a character also doesn't have to be played for him to be considered popular as zeo already mentioned ;Leon related videos are one of the most popular on this site garnering a bunch of views/likes so even though not many use him doesn't change the fact that he sure as shit is entertaining to watch and the roster ain't the same without him and his destructive ways

I honestly don't even understand what people are arguing about. Everyone should've expected this given the game's DLC history. Tecmo has done nothing but take the easiest and sleaziest route with DOA5. There's $500 worth of cheerleader and bikini type DLC, if you seriously thought they'd release an old, fat goblin type character instead of giving his movelist to a copy/pastable female body you must've not been playing the same game I've been playing. And again I am a Tengu fan and player, but I expected this and I will embrace it as long as the character retains Tengu's spirit.

I agree with @Brute: it's possible to make predicition about the general popularity or less of a character (and so consequently to base on it the necessity or less to bring back it), but I have no doubts that the people on this forum that demonstrated to be great fans of a character with endless requests wouldn't use it after the release.
It can pretty much be assumed this girl has wings based on them sharing Argentus request for demon girls with wings.
A female tengu would fight different, and it might actually be interesting if you're right. She would probably be like an illegitimate baby of the fusion of tengu and alisa, which would be immensely amusing. She'd also probably have the bust of Rachel, but the face of, say, Kokoro or Ayane.

I hope so, it can't be truly related to the Tengu race/genes when lacking of a so important peculiar trait; more like already said, by other users, the possess of wings is a needed element for everyone eager to get a character able to use the Tengu-Do as Bankotsubo.
