Characters New "Female Tengu" Revealed


First discovered by @pachincko this seems likely to be our new Tengu shown in Famitsu. More details are bound to show up incredibly soon and we will keep this updated. She looks pretty, and I hope that Tengu fans will be impressed by the final package, because Tengu fans have waited a long time for this.

Yeah =/ but I noticed she also has 8PPP, P+K, his old 4P+K wind gust, his 1P+K dive (now a PB, and it looks like it'll have amazing range on it), a new ground grab (which may or may not prove useful, since it kinda looks like she needs to be in that flying stance to do it), legitimate mixup from 9P, now with Tengu's old jump P+K, a new kick string, and more than likely his old high/low throws as well.

Actually, that low throw from it may very well be an option select - throws crouching opponents as well as grounded opponents.

It's just funny that a little while ago, we were all explaining our reasons as to why we wanted Tengu back in this game and got people bitching on all sides, but now that he has tits, I've seen tons of people clamoring over him...
 
I'm not really a fan of her costumes though, other than the main one and it's palette swap. The bondage outfit is lame as fuck and that other black one (seen when she does 4T) is nothing special.

I'll be looking forward to what other ones we see over the next few months. It'd be really lame to get stuck with just two palette swaps again.
 
I think she looks alright, personally. Don't care whether she's male or female (would have preferred the original, though), but at least she doesn't look boring. I actually really like the first outfit shown, but I agree, the bondage one is stupid.
 
Her outfit selection is atrocious, imo

I mean, no one's got it worse than Ein in that department, but still. Her Catwoman suit doesn't even make sense.
 
Ah, just reread the forum. I was trying to remember the inputs on that punch -> flying stance she did. I almost never used it, so I forgot it was 6P+K. That thing is probably going to be incredibly effective now, as I'm assuming it's carried over its guardbreak properties.

It wasn't a GB on it's own. It only acted as one when coming out of 6PP, or PP6PP, If I recall correctly.
 
Didn't remember that little aspect of it xD well, considering how slow it is and how long the recovery is, I can't see them leaving it to its own flaws =P

She probably can. It doesn't really matter though. It was rarely useful to do 9PP, or 9PPP. Just one 9P was usually enough.

It appears to be faster than the old i27 version, so I don't know.

I don't think she'll have the full 9PPP, honestly. She'd instantly be able to cover the entire screen if that were the case, mixup potential included.

That said, a single 9P P+K (I'm assuming that's still the input for the flight and the old jumping dive) should be able to cover mass amounts of ground and severely limit the spacing options of characters like Ayane and Jann.
 
I guess I am the only one who hates C1 just like I hate Kokoro's C1 ok they are good but they look weird in current gen. Her black leather outfits my favourites only problem they are sexy.

Good point. Maybe she'll only get the one dash back then. I won't mind. The other two were pretty much useless.
