Yeah, America is lucky. PS3 users in EU have to wait like an extra week or something. 360 players however, all get her around the same time- the question is... how delayed is the 360 patch going to be this time? Are we going to have to wait a couple days? a week? a month? =P

360 and DOA patches have a pretty bad track record... =\

I accept this screenshot as legitimate now. The patch with Ayane's 30th outfit and MR's 11th is when Nyotengu is being introduced. They could have just put TEN (which does make sense since she is a tengu) as the nameholder and Nyogu may have only had 3 outfits at the time of development (since there really is only 3 with the rest being recolors).

Maybe we could convince him/her to release another screenshot with the placeholder name for the next character. :rolleyes:

I can give you some of the highlights. I ain't about to transcribe all 10 minutes. lol

They introduce themselves. Hayashi says that he's come here to show off the new character Nyotengu. He explains how she's not human and she's a tengu whose 1018 years old. The lady (I think her name is read Sayazaka, but I could be wrong) comments on how sexy she is and that Hayashi must have had fun making her. Hayashi doesn't deny it.

At the beginning of the fight with Akira, Nyotengu has her opening quote "Kawaigatte ageyou zo" which means "I'll toy with you/tease you/baby you/spoil you/etc." Sayazaka comments on how Akira should be saying "Thank you very much!" repeatedly to that proposal.

Hayashi talks about how Nyotengu can summon wind and that she's the first character in the game to do something like this. (I dunno why he never fully executed the move.) Sayazaka then comments on how Nyotengu spreads her legs really wide for some of her kicks and that's dangerous territory with the skirt she's wearing. Hayashi says that it's okay because she's 1018 years old and totally a grandma. Sayazaka then comments on how "convenient" that is.

Hayashi shows off Nyotengu ground taunt. I guess everyone is laughing at how that's a thing you can actually do. Hayashi then talks about the location test.

They tweeted some news about the contest, about the new patch, and about the 5U servers.

The #DOA5U servers will be undergoing maintenance at approx. 9-10 AM for PS3 users and 6-7 PM for Xbox 360 users (Japan time).

They said there might be bugs during that time but hell there's always bugs online.

How much you guys wanna bet they mess up the server maintenance and the patch and Phase-4 get delayed?

I really hope the server maintenance fixes online a little bit. It's getting ridiculous.
