Whose Fighting Style would you Imitate?

Me being able to lay on top of someone and keep them down with my weight is very unlikely XD
But oh god, Rig's stance. To stay in the stance, let alone do moves from it, would be hard enough.

I've always wanted to mimic a kind of Combat Sambo/Karate style (DOA may have been an influence). More like MMA fighting but I can kind of do whatever the hell I want and make it up on the fly.

Wanted to learn Combat Sambo a long time ago but lacked the strength and body mass to successfully pull off a lot of the grapples. Hell, I still lack the body mass for it but I do know a couple grapples that can deal a lot with easy body manipulation thanks to some Marine/Army buddies of mine.

Karate I was slightly interested in (one time kicked clean through one of those training boards equal to 3 wooden boards stacked on my first kick and really impressed the instructor during a school activity) but I dislike the "loud" aspect of it (I'm not fucking yelling every time I punch, I learned through farm work there are better ways of exuding the extra umph). In fights I used the Ein approach of "One Strike!". Fights have been few and quick. Get in the first punch and make it the last is how I roll.

I'd imitate Ayane's fighting style so I can crush all your hopes and dreams with my almighty 4P

I had a friend who did karate she said the yelling was meant to tighten up your body to deffend against counter attacks or something . I'm fond of their step strikes, I was sparring with a friend a good foot taller than me and I was able to use that to overcome his reach and hit the same rib three times lol

I have the same issue with learning grappling styles, but they way I see it is it's mostly an issue if you want to do it competivley where you need that extra weight and strength to counter the counters. In a real life situation your unlikely to meet someone able to counter quick enough.

I suppose I'd have to go with Bajiquan, because I practiced it for 6 years. So, Akira/Kokoro?

Where do you guys find people who teach those exotic styles? I didnt even know what Ba Ji Quan was until I read a wiki article on Akira one day and found out that long ass H-word was japanese for Ba Ji Quan.

I was lucky: I told my mom I wanted to learn a fighting style, but not Karate, Taekwondo, etc. I wanted something completely different and she was looking through the Newspaper's Classifieds one day, found a Bajiqan practitioner. I looked it up, read about it and fell in love. I started that week. A 71 Year old Chinese man taught me. He was very nice and strict and smoked a pipe like all the time. xD

I was a Taekwondo practitioner a few years back. I couldn't continue the art due to some issues. I have to say, Rig's style is more realistic than Sarah's. But I don't remember that many kicks. If I had to imitate any other style, it would have to be Pi Gua Quan ^_^. Tai Chi Quan is a close second.

I wish I could use Leon's style, but even when I'm in shape I'm still lean, so Ill stick to Milas style. I consider her a faster lighter version of him so it amounts to the same.

Same here. I was a Taekwondo practitioner many years ago. Even got my nose broken at a championship once, (where I got a silver medal). Eventually life stuff just got in the way and I just couldn't find the time for it any more and had to stop. If I could use any other style it would be Bayman's style. I just really like the brutal nature of his style.
